PayPal Alternatives - Good Article

I saw this article and thought it may be of some benefit to all of you. For those outside of the US I don't know whether some or any of these alternative payment services are available.

I have personally used some of them and have been happy.

The problem is that you can decide to use one of the good alternatives like moneybookers but you can't force the buyers to use it. They will keep saying "I will buy if you accept paypal"

The simplest way to port over to another processor is to accept visa or mc only as payment. No need to get the buyers to adjust to processors they are not familiar with, when you've got those worldwide famous brands as an alternative. I believe you can accept v/mc through Alertpay, so on your landing pages you just emphasize v/mc, not Alertpay in the order section.

Let the people who can only pay through paypal go elsewhere--yes, lose some sales, walkaway power is the only way we'll ever break the spell of being PP junkies. Or, you can accept PP through a third party like Plimus, though some people find their interface to be a pain.

Moneybookers is really good alternative for Paypal but many vendors does not accept moneybookers payment option. Paypal is worldwide, if you don't have you cannot do online transactions.

but when you became a merchant or got money you got your account limited for no reason.

of them you will got protection even if you are fraud people (i know a scam company

in my opinion two step to kill gaypal, first found better one (none of the current have enough features that could compete with this gay) and the second is to make paying
users of gaypal hate it (by over fraud networks)
or the other way if all merchants make an organization to control the market and make
paypal as slave not a master.

i would watch what you type you have just promoted hacking and been racist towards Jewish people..... would you like to be one of these paypal users that the "hackers pirate your account over the internet"? NO

lol, first they how started being racist against us (the Jewish of paypal and those how i m talking about)
second i will be very happy if my account got hacked and my info published if that the price to stop the paypal racism and make the internet a better place.

also i forgot to say that i lost a lot of money because that company and got few accounts limited with no reason and look at their world page to see how
they use different strategy for each country and even different fees to use.

i m against racism not against Jewish and against every racist company so any way used to stop them will be ok, this better for all.

Square may be a good solution for some to accept visa/mc/amex pmts straight up (although they don't have any type of interface to add to your website that I'm aware of), but read the fine print when you start using them. They allow you to charge up to $1,000 per week without a hold. Anything charged above $1,000 will be held for 30 days. You can have those limits lifted if you request it, but I'm not clear on what they look at to determine when/if the limit will be lifted.
