The initial e-mail sent was because the code e-mailed to me was not working in an order I was trying to place. So of course I was wanting the code to be fixed in my e-mails. Illogical does not equal stupid. Illogical means to act against logic and use emotion in your arguments. And I think this entire thread is an example of illogical behavior.
We used LOGIC, in the email..something you failed to understand. We explained EXACTLY why the coupon did work. It was a logical sequence of events that started with problems on YOUR SIDE.
When we are sitting here, (Busy btw) and we get an email from a guy asking for a coupon....and we look it up, and we see that our payment came in on the 22nd...thats all we can go by.
When you explain it was on the 11th then we research it...and find out it was because you charged back .10 cents. (Which looks really douchey btw) and then explain it to you...and then you call us illogical and tell us we owe it to you....you are digging yourself in a hole.
You didn't even tell us it was Paypal at the time....in our heads..its still you doing something retarded like charging it back, which caused a problem in our system that makes us stop doing important work, to email you back and forth, research the problem, and then try and fix it.
Now, when you finally decide to listen to us that it was on YOUR SIDE, and then you research it and find out it was paypal (Your financial institution) instead of saying..."Hey man, sorry, I figured it out..it was paypals fault...here is what happened....is there anything you can do about it?" (Which would of been a yes, and we would of happily fixed it for you)
You decided to keep on with the same "its not me, its you" attitude that got you where you are today.
I never said that you had to give me the links, but I thought a good businessman should give the links. Stating that a ten cent shortage is against your terms is in my opinion using the weasel clause.
Its not a weasel clause, its you throwing a monkey wrench in the automated machine and then demanding us to dig it out. I could honestly give two craps doing a flying nose dive off of a butthole about giving away links. Thats why we give them away for free. Use YOUR LOGIC and not YOUR emotion and tell me why would I try so hard to not give you links, when I give them out to a large amount of customers for free already.
Do you think McDonalds cares if a customer takes home an extra straw? NO! They give them away for free. Use YOUR logic instead of acting emotional and thinking we were trying to rip you off of "your" free links.
weasel clause (plural weasel clauses)
(informal) An escape clause; a clause in a legal contract permitting one of the parties to escape ("weasel out of") its obligations under some circumstances.
We are in a legal contract huh, I must of been out of the office that day? Do you sign legal contracts at christmas too for all your other gifts?
I posted this dilemma on here to see if my opinion was right and you emotionally acted and called me a douche.
In response to being called a weasel. Weasels weasel out of things and if you say we are trying to weasel out of something...you are saying something about our character...period.
And I think a douche bag calls someone giving him a gift, a weasel, when its HIM that screwed up receiving the gift...especially when he has another gift on its way. (Not to mention the right attitude could of fixed your problem)
You may have had the right to not give the links, but the discussion got away from that when you stated mistruths about me. Instead of cleaning up some spilt gasoline you through a match on it.
No, you spilt the gasoline when you/your financial institute charged back .10 cents. Instead of saying "Whooops, sorry" and asking our help to clean it up..you threw a match on it by talking and acting the way you did, especially CREATING a thread like this. I'm just dancing on the fire brother.
The only reason I have been replying is your attacks on me and not on my position. Apparently you did not understand the term "illogical" and went of on an emotional rant. Which kind of proved the point.
No, you keep building strawmen arguments and then attacking them. We've explained ourselves 10 times in the email and you are being obtuse. When you created this thread and commented on our character...you made it personal. You need to look in the mirror because its you who has been emotional from the start...we have answered based on facts and technicalities up until this thread.
All I want is for you to agree that I did not dispute the charge and that my e-mails were not unreasonable. Or you can attack me again illogically.
You or YOUR financial institute DID...thats a fact.
Here is the proof
Now if you want to admit that it WAS either you or who you decided to pay with that caused the problem, apologize for attacking our character and then ASK us if we can work it out with you.....even after all this... I will still give you the 54.50 in links.
But until you "GET IT", you won't be getting it.
