"Gift" is German for "POISON"!
Watch out because if your PayPal account gets "limited" for any reason at all, PayPal "Security" may write a nastygram to your bank!
PayPal is now limiting new accounts sending and email beginning with this:
"We have noticed unusual activity in the bank account connected with your PayPal account....."
(1) This was done on a NEW PayPal account which had been loaded with a mere $25 USD and had NO transactions at all run through it!
(2) PayPal cannot see shit on your bank account activity, so PayPal is lying.
(3) PayPal then freezes and holds the funds until you have provided(From the PayPal email!):
"Dear (Person We Are About To Fuck.),
We're sorry, but your account access limitation cannot be lifted at this
time. We need more information about your account before we can restore
full access to your account. Please complete the steps below so that we may
review your account further:
To fulfill your name change request, please provide the following
documentation to confirm that you have a current relationship with the
business:
Some form of proof, which contains both the business name, as well as the
individual's name that will be added to the PayPal account. Acceptable
forms of proof include Articles of Incorporation or the equivalent, current
business license, any business documents/forms approved by and filed with
the business's governing state, or a bank statement for the bank account
registered on the PayPal account.
*Please note that if the statement does not display your name, then you
will also need to provide a copy of the signature card as proof that you
are an authorized signer.
A valid photo ID for the new contact person. We will accept a driver's
license, passport, or any other state or government issued photo ID.
*If the photo ID does not show the address listed on the PayPal account,
please include a recent utility bill in the new contact person's name that
matches the address listed on the PayPal account.
- Submit a copy of your monthly statement for the bank account ending in
XXXX. The statement must show your name, address and account number exactly
as they appear in your PayPal account.
- Submit a copy of a current utility bill. The bill must show your name and

this as large and as light as possible.
You can upload the information requested or fax it to us. To begin, visit
the Resolution Center and click Resolve under Steps to Remove

print the cover page, log into your account and click on the fax documents
link on the "Limited Account Access Details" page.

PayPal Account Review Department"
I'm sure that everyone has seen the above email but I'll bet you haven't heard of this nifty little trick on the part of PayPal!
Now......PayPal is now also writing letters to the associated banks, suggesting to the bank that your account is engaged in "fraudulent" activity, which can result in the freezing of the bank account until you go into the bank and explain to the bank just WTF has happened.
In future, we will be using alternatives to PayPal.
