PR Update My main website is now PR8 !

Hey everyone,

My 2 years old website is now PR8 on home and more than 40-50 subpages with PR7 !

It's a directory (not english language) with more than 3500 websites registered in.

I want to sell the website but dont now where and how much.

Any help would be appreciated.

Lol you could divert all that juicy pr and sell it. People are willing to pay good money for unsaturated pr8 links. Create a blog and divert the juice.

Wow PR8.. I don't see many personal websites that have that.. Often it's a large company or some state owned whatever =) Good job!

You should perhaps look into selling links on a yearly basis. I think a PR4 link is sold for $50 or so per year, so a PR8 must be atleast 300-400. I find it quite expensive myself, but I know others are buying it.

I second that motion. In fact, you can simply rent links on a monthly basis. If you play your cards right, you could probably earn $100 per month per link, maybe more, through an established link broker. Contact text-link-ads.com...they're the market leader.

Hey, Congratulations, You can charge a year fee for all the listings, I'm sure you will get a lot of them, depending on pricing, you can make 2 types of listing, regular - cheaper, and sponsored thaa stays on top.

Agreed. People will want their listing on your homepage, sell these as sponsored for a good monthly fee and you can probably cram a good number of them on there. Others can pay less and be on whatever page their category is on - they'll still want to pay a little since its a PR8 root domain.

Wow congrats , Now you are only 1 p.r point behind Google lol.

I had my main site increase from PR2 to PR4 and what suprised me is that a few of my inner pages have also now got a PR of 3, which is weird since before the update they didn't have any PR at all.

Am actually envious of you lol but now you have a huge opportunity to make some $$$ with this site (provided the PR hasn't been faked etc)... Either sell it on Flippa and scale up some of your other ventures, or continue monitizing your site by selling advertising space etc.

You might make more selling links on a monthly or yearly basis, than selling the site. Sites go crazy to get PR8 links.

I guess it will be more worth while to sell it quick on flippa. You could probably bank a nice fortune by selling it.

Renting text links are nice but you will have to factor in the unpredictability of google. Who knows what page rank or changes google is going to come up next a few months later or even today. Nobody knows.

You might find all of a sudden your income from selling text links are gone. You might as well sell the PR8 site and re-invest the cash for other ventures. Or better still, take a break...YOU DESERVE IT!
