Host for Xrumer

This maybe a stupid question but is 1500 GB per month enough?

I mean, the shit is going to run day and night with 100 threads right? Wiredtree.com seems to be the way to go. Anyone actually used it? I think I'll go dedi. I got 600 domains, and it'll be worth the stuff.

Jake Harris: Hello. How may I help you?
Teguh: I will try vps
Teguh: The minimum is 1 month right?
Jake Harris: That is correct.
Teguh: Cool
Teguh: Can we run windows program there?
Jake Harris: No. We only provide Linux servers.
Teguh: for vps
Teguh: I see
Teguh: What about your dedicated server? Do you have windows dedicated server or hybrid?
Jake Harris: We don't provide any windows servers.
Teguh: Hmm... but people recommend you at http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo-tools/28700-host-xrumer.html
Jake Harris: That still doesn't change the fact that we don't offer Windows servers.
Teguh: Okay...
Teguh: I'll still think about it
Teguh: Some said that you can run windows program in linux server with a trick but I wouldn't count on it
Jake Harris: You cannot run Windows on any of our servers.

Well, the limit seems to be the CPU. Anyway I am using vrtservers.net now

http://www.vrtservers.net/

If you run 100 thread continuously, can anyone tell me how much bandwidth you end up using per month?

What I saw so far: 100 threads (out of links-database; zlinks is much better and requires less cpu), count for some 10 G a day.

Still, I did some investigation, my own VPS does not work with vmware or virtual box, as the kernel sources - you must have them to compile the adaptions of the virtualization - are not available. Did anybody manage it to run a virtual machine on a VPS? I have a server of strato (german company). Which vps uses a default kernel, which is included in your distro?

Try server.lu
Code:
http://server.lu/dedicated-ds2000

Unmetered data transfer
Genuine 100MBit speed

install vmware + win
and that is all

!!ATTENTION!! DON'T USE VPS
Go for a full dedicated server

I tried server.lu the second time.

This time I tried vmware again. Got everything setup.

Then I run programs.

Then it gets very slow.

Then I give up and reinstall operating system.

3 hours has passed and all I see is:
Reinstallation in progress !

It turns out that I reinstall OS and before the first one completed I reinstall again to make sure that I reinstall vmware.

Hard reset by them is 50 euro.

Well, I make a ticket to them that I'll just take the windows2008 standard edition. No reply yet.

Last month there is no reply till the end of the billing cycle.

Again, this information is BS. So many people use Windows within a VirtualBox on a Linux including me (on server.lu). So there is no problem, just some knowledge is required. But if you want only to use it for XRumering, a win server might be better for you, since using multiple cores for a single virtualized instance is annoying or just time consuming and required either xen, kvm or vmware server (only 2 possible).

Good luck with that. I tried comcast just a few weeks ago. fastest connection they offered in my area 65Mbit/14Mbit Speed was all there, DNS was on vacation.

Might as well have been on dialup while trying to run 200 connections. My 18Mbit uverse connection danced circles around comcast when it came to DNS. It was so bad when I would run 200 or more connections on comcast, it would take Google longer to load then if I was on dialup.
