Seen a ranking change after doing onsite/offsite changes after Panda?

I'd like to know if anyone has seen any changes to their rankings for sites that have dropped after they have done some new backlinking and maybe added/change content on their site?

I've had many sites get get where they went from the top 3 to pages 4-5. Some are not even in the top 100, but still indexed. While others seem to have just shifted a few spots even though I had been doing same onsite/offsite SEO for all the sites just the same.

Or we won't see any ranking change at all until the next Panda update? But is that for sites that got hit or if we start new sites we will have a difficult time moving up the ranks as well until the next update?

But I think we're all getting a little too crazy over Panda, and attributing everything from normal G dances and movement, to global warming - to Panda. Sometimes a drop or increase is just a drop or increase.

Sorry, just had to get that off my chest, as much as anything, to stop myself from muttering "Panda" every time my sites drop or rise (like today, when I went from 11 last night to 100+ this morning to 10 tonight )

People aren't freaking out over nothing. Some of us are managing a huge portfolio of sites that have seen very radical changes that can only be explained by an algorithm tweak. I've been in the game long enough to know what a google dance is, and I know massive shifts in the SERP (positive and negative) for not just my sites but also my competitors are not "normal". That said, some people need to realize (like you said) that not all movement in the SERPS is solely because of 2.2.

Well it has to be something because my sites were stable for the last 2 years and everything hit around April when the drops started happening. It isn't just random drops of a few spots here and there like I typically see, but when I see drops in terms of 5-6 pages it gets my attention.

So I'd like to figure out what it can be and try to remedy the problem. Can't just ignore it and say it is just a normal drop which I know it always happen but not when your site drops so far and for so long now.

Many of my sites lost their ranking. I tried some tips like changing content, new links, social network share and so on.. but no result. Is there anyone who managed to recover ranking let me share how. I am looking for advise how to beat the panda

No - maybe I didn't say it quite right.
I'm not saying that people are imagining things - I got clobbered by Panda as well (as in losing a good chunk of my income) and I continue to see bizarre stuff going on (and I started in the Altavista/Excite days).
And I'm not saying we shouldn't learn as much as possible about Panda. I've contributed my two cents about what I've seen, in some of the other threads.
I'm just saying that it seems lots of people (not necessarily the OP) are starting to blame *everything* on Panda, whether it's a bizarre event, or a normal dance. I've seen some major movements up and down this month - in the normal time frame for a dance. Was it Panda 2.2? Was it the effect of some SB blasts, or some big Xrumer blasts, or the WH link building that I've done? These days, as opposed to that horrible last week in February, it's much harder for me to tell.

pre-panda, post-panda... Unique content and Onsite optimization remain the 2 big factors for ranking on search engines. The third big factor is backlinks, which is the only one affected by panda. And even then, just have diverse backlinks and keep creating more of them. You still will stand the onslaught!
