There are several 'free' tools. The best ones are:

- Majestic SEO (requires free account sign up)

- Yahoo Site explorer (requires free account sign up)

- Link diagnosis (requires free account sign up)

All of the above are good ways of finding out a sites linking history. Majestic SEO also allows you to compare your own site with up to 4 competitor sites, once you have created the free account.

Just post a thread here that you wanna buy some high PR backlinks and go with the provider who have good background and proven record. I don't think that there would be any other good place for buying backlinks rather than BHW.

id say scrape box and auto approve backlinks are not as effective as paid ones. instead use profile links created manually . some people offer that here in this forum. use search button.
