How to use DeathByCaptcha in Bookmarking Demon

A lot of people have PM'd me about how to make DBC work in BMD.

This is the solution:

They use an inflate price from Decaptcher.com ($4/1k Captchas).

didn't notice the BMD update so I followed your DeathByCaptcha info and it worked
showed my balance. went to post got a warning NOT USING UPDATED VERSION. Updated to ver 5.5.6 and now it does not work. the box to put api.deathbycaptcha.com/decaptcher has been removed.

Got another workaround?

Yes. This workaround was rendered useless with their update.

Since this post is open, I'll just investigate another alternative.

UPDATE: Yesterday EdwinSoft released an updated version of BMD 5.5.6.0 and this method stopped working. You can't use HTTP POST API with DeathByCaptcha anymore but you can still use normal API.

Download http://edwinsoft.net/downloads/bmd/decaptcher_dll.zip and unzip it to your BMD folder
In Bookmarking Demon settings uncheck "use HTTP POST"
Enter server address api.deathbycaptcha.com
Enter port 8223
Test by clicking "Check Balance"
You still need to opt in to use DeCapcher API at http://deathbycaptcha.com/user/api/decaptcher

Also, everyone who used cracked version of BMD 5.5.5.0 is screwed now. It won't work anymore.

Hi I ordered 5k of captchas last night through paypal and I did not recieve them.I have emailed deathbycaptcha several times but got no reponse.

I had just bought AMR and wanted to run some articles in the end I stayed up most of the night inserting captchas manually. Not impressed with the service. Can you see what the propblem is please. I have an order number.

I've been thinking about BMD however the other captcha service would make it too expensive for my tastes. esp after shelling out for BMD.

I use DBC with BMD/AD since this post w/o any problems.
Just use lowercase only password with DBC. I noticed, that my mixed-case pass was converted to lowercase after restarting BMD.

Your right I had a cap in my password. Changed to lower case and it works again!

Anyone have problems with this after a while? It works just fine, until I start a long queue of bookmarks, I.E. 5000 or so. It will get half way, and then my success rate will drop dramatically. The logs shows a lot of 'failed to log in to decaptcher' errors, and if I hit 'check balance' in preferences, I get an error. However, when I restart BMD, it works fine again. I just can't run long campaigns?

Hmm, I'm looking into getting BMd so wanna check this shit is still legit cos I can be dealing with BMD's extortionate captcha prices. Seems most are getting it going but it would be a kick in the balls if they shut it down after I buy BMD ...the perils of IM

I have exactly the same problem. Not sure why...

You actually get the same problem if you use decaptcher using this method..

Only the standard method works good with decaptcher.

Yes, if anyone knows how to get DBC to work with the current version of BMD that'd be great. DBC has the best deals for captcha solving, even better than Decaptcher, so i'm hoping I wont have to get a separate captcha solving service JUST for BMD.
