Starting local SEO business need help

Allright so basicly I have everything ready except one thing.

I have found outsources.
I have made a Business plan.
I have the resources needed to start.
I have basic knowledge about SEO.
I have found the way I want to use to get clients.
I allready have a small list of clients I want to speak to.
Just one problem!
I am only 13 years old (14 birthday the 19th august)
So, no client would ever listen to me
As I am just a kid.... I am thinking and thinking of ways to get around this...
Maybe get somebody in my familly to talk with the clients, but then I
would need to explain them everything about SEO to make them able to answer questions, plus.... I am not even sure they would help me.

If anyone got any way around this I would seriously appreciate it.

Dude, 13 is just too young to run a business. I don't want to patronize you. I had my first website also at 13. I tried starting a web design business. I thought I was knowledgeable and mature enough to handle a business.

I'm not saying you don't have the knowledge. But it's the experience you need.. and I mean, real life, real word experience.. with money, risk, people, business.

You don't have to follow my advice, but I strongly suggest that you concentrate on whatever methods you've been successful with thus far. Spend a few more years building a portfolio, trying new things, building new websites and getting experience.

The thing is, that I have had a business before, whoever I was selling to chineese through msn and skype.
I have never tryed to speak with a business you know like face to face...
That is what I am nervous about, whoever thanks for your advice.
I love making deals, working and I find SEO Interresting, I just need an adult to
speak with my clients, I can give them anything they need to say, any information they need to get and so on. I just dont think that a real buisness will
listen to a 13 year old boy, while if they didnt know it was me, doing the job
I could probably make a few sales.
Also, I have the experience of taking risks, having a job, I know how to handle people very well, I have studied Social Engineering and I have the experience of having money in my hands.
I dont have the experience you get with age, in real life and I dont have the mind of a adult, which also give me the chance of having a more open mind. Not saying adults dont have that, just that kids seems to be less in a box of reality.

you are quite the prodigy. i would recommend doing a jv with someone older that can talk to the clients and you manage the back-end with the outsourcing and stuff.

or........

use those seo skills to build up your own empire of income producing sites until you are older.

Have a few examples of you outranking the big guns,
do a local press release, and a local interest tv mention
and wait for your phone to ring off the hook.

Depends on how rich the busniess is, as ive told I havent started yet, as I cant figure out how to deal with my clients.

I remember my first business... I was 7 years old and I used to contract the local kids to pick chestnuts for $3 a kilo and I would sell them at my road side stall for $8 a kilo..

you are never to young for business, if you have issues with selling face to face (and you will have to do it sooner than later) and you think that business people will not take you seriously because you are 13 (yeah, I think that, that's about right) then dont do face to face business.

Do everything online and via email.

I do most of mine like that, dude, I have about 4 clients that I have never even spoken to let alone met. If you can do the job, then just do the job.

BUT! remember that as an SEO you are taking someone's business into your hands, their online persona is now yours to manage, so be respectful of that.

DO NOT TAKE UNNECESSARY RISKS WITH THEIR SITE.

getting their site sand-boxed or worse because you do something silly because the client is giving you grief that it's taking a while to rank for an insanely competitive KW is not the way to go.

Manage the clients expectations with the reality of the web and you will do fine.

Not a genius? Half the fakers on the Internet aren't gurus either.
Yes get in the local newspaper and on your local tv station. Don't sell
from there just supply some information on the importance of ranking
like a general interest topic. People who are interested will contact you
for more information and that is when you begin selling yourself.

I just thought that the most buisness people would prefer a meeting IRL
And also I would have an easier time explaining things.
I might try using email, and or Instant Messengers.

Ps. Nice thought of a 7year old, also yes I agree you can make money at any age!

And also to do get an article about me in the Local Newspaper, it wont be such a big problem, but I think I will try and get 1 or 2 clients before, one way or another !
