There are many factors that can contribute to that. Onpage SEO, competition etc.

There are so many variables that a statement like that is unfounded.

Onsite SEO is perfect, competition is low, and yeah there are, but I had 5 linkpushes to this keyword.

There are many variables of course, but this is not a competitive keyword. I expected to see much better results..

How long has it been since the pushes completed? I have taken the list of properties and also blasted them with SB to get around 50 comments to every property. I did not ping or rss them, I just let everyone else spamming do that for me LOL. I do this 2 weeks after the last push completed. Brings your push to nearly 3k links with this.

For some of the pushes, its been more than a week, for others it has been 2 days.

Yeah thats a good idea. I am going to start blasting those links. Thanks for that tip. :)

i know mate but my site is over 4 years old (as well as the satellite sites are over 2-3 years old). I was #1 for about one and half years in two keywords (2009-2010) then went down to page 2 since june 2010. With my SEO efforts for more than half year, I finally took my rankings back in March but it only lasted until early May (before the latest panda update hit me really hard)

I have been doing link pushes since early this year although back then i wasnt as aggressive as nowadays (as of now Im in 12 link pushes/month plan). I know about link variation as well, that's what i've been doing since last year (which really helped me to regain my #1 ranking in two keywords for march and april). It doesnt seem to be working anymore though with the latest panda update this may.

I wonder where else can I get effective link building. I mean, you said yourself link pushes alone won't help me compete with these big spenders in my keywords. That's why i am really curious what else. I cant keep relying on the same services and tools, i've been posting to BMR, linkvana, ezarticlelink, and AMR. I need to find new sources to post my backlinks. I've been using SB and xrumer too but i doubt if they are still that effective.

As of now (beside of link pushes), i've been doing linkpwns as well (georgebg service), i really hope both link push and linkpwns can really help me.

Have you tried SB or Xrumer to the properties? What about extended pushes? I just bought 50 .edu links from BigBuddy that gave one of my sites a kick in the ass. Went from between 9 and 12 to #3 and the second keyword went from 25 to 20. I am still pushing them also. Of course this site is only 5 months old. I don't do a lot of linking to this site, maybe 4 pushes per month.

Keyword 1 - 12k broad 1300 exact 1.76 million results
Keyword 2 - 60k broad 3600 exact 6.27 million results

My site is just a blog and I am fighting product distributors and product manufacturers for these spots as well as DIY sites. They have a lot more money than I do. Maybe one of them will buy it from me... LOL

Try adding some quality, high pr links also. It will give your site more trust and possibly increase the value of the links that you do have.(being more trustworthy)

I am also constantly adding content also. One site gets 2 articles per month while others get 2 a day.

One other question, are you guys pushing the home page or an article specifically for that keyword? I am pushing articles and not the home page. I really don't care which page ranks as long as they get to my site.

The pic that I posted of my ranking, the one at #6 has been hovering around #9 for weeks and now it has moved up. That has had only 1 push and that was 45 days ago.

I would wait 1.5 - 2 weeks before blasting them.... Just makes it look more natural to me.

I just was checking for another site and found one of my customers in the same niche but I am way behind him, anyhow I have done NOTHING this month for his linking (he stopped it because he thought it was not working) as his site was stuck at 74-79 and low and behold 2 weeks later he is at 64. He stopped after 3 months because he was not getting any calls.... DUH you are not on page 1 yet. Oh well his loss. Before I started he was not in the top 1k and the onpage sucks but he does not want to change the site. (or pay to) either way for this keyword to go from 0 to 64 with 12 pushes is great movement.

I'm looking for an experiment so I am offering 3 people a free amr blast to the lp properties!

Make this more fun, you have to guess the color of my bathroom floor

I have just signed up with the basic package and I have a question.
Is it OK to use just one keyword for each LP?

Sure it is, I generally do not but a lot of people do and have positive results.

I just bought another 12 link push subscription and added it to my other account which was the 5 linkpush. I am wondering how I can add pushes to my old 5 linkpush account because now everytime I add a new push its adding it to the 12 linkpush account?

I need to use the other account for my own sites and the 12 account for my clients. Is there not a way to choose?

thanks!

Just dropping by to show some love in this thread. This service is essential to my latest SEO strategy and is proving to be extremely effective. Will be posting a detailed testimonial/case study in a separate thread when I get a chance.

Anyone see a drop in rankings today?
I've had about 30-40 different sites drop quite a few spots in about 60-80 keywords.

When is your PN of blogs going to be up? Haven't had any links from them since my push back in early April.

Also - should I be concerned that all the Web 2.0 properties are from the same sites??

Will push after push of blogs posts at Multiply, Fotopages, Flixya, Blurty, etc, etc , etc really help - or can it hurt after awhile???

Thanks!

The PN is actually up and we are running some testing on it to make sure that when it is implemented it is smooth and after it goes live, we will be adding PN posts for the LPs that do not have them as that is being coded in to the process.

I wouldn't be concerned about multiple posts on the same Web 2.0 properties as that is very natural and they are all over the place on those Web 2.0s.

Consider when you bookmark one of your sites after adding content... you use the same folkd, identica, etc accounts and that doesn't hurt you at all either but rather helps your sites.
