If you have a site on page 2 of Google and the keyword according to Google gets 74,000 [Exact] visitors per month how much traffic can you expect on page 2 either in position 11 or 12?

Impossible to say because you would get traffic from related keywords/phrases too.
If it would only be considering your 'main' keyword i'd say maybe 50-100 a month. ( this is just a guess, i have many kw on 2nd page and they get some traffic but it's really minimal )

i just launched a mini site that the keyword tool claims 1600 exact searches per month. I've gotten 6 hits in the last 3 days. So nothing to speak of, but you should see more. 120 impressions according to webmaster tools

Do you know where they came from for sure?

Anyways, this is where meta description is useful.
If you're outside the top 5, you need a reason for someone to click you, because only a small percentage or even going to scroll to you.

No i'm not sure. It is based on analytics and webmaster tools.

why would I lie about this? It is a small number of views so with only 100 impressions a few clicks his a huge percentage. I'm sure over thousands of impressions the % will change. I was just trying to be helpful

There is no second page, period. The stats are around 1.5% in that position. So I'd say around 2-300 a month, if that(thats pushing it). Not sure why you are asking. Number 1 is the goal..

Sooo, I would take that number and Judge it by 150 a month for analysis purposes.

There are SEO plugins that let you enter the meta tags.

Precisely...thats why i have always had the mindset that you are only competing with the 1st page...so i never even bother to look up how many pages or competitors...I just analyze the seo of the first few sites to decide how hard a keyword will be to rank for.

Thanks for all your responses, the reason I was asking is that I have a keyword on page 2. The keyword gets 74,000 visitors per month on page 1 and I thought I should see more traffic on page 2 from overflow, but I see all traffic is on page 1 with hardly no spill over to page 2.
