keyword research by a noob for first time - is it ok ?

Hi people i m trying out my first niche website and my first exp with BH tools .so plz just a little help plz in keyword selection

Keyword has around 30000 exact searches global
quotes in google.com ("Keyword") - 800 k searches
all in title - 50 k results
all in url - 37k results
intitle inurl both - 30 k results
@start=990 with "keyword" - around 57 results pages, &start=990 without quotes is 65 pages
cpc - around 4 dollars according to google adwords tool .i dont have ms now so i m using this just planning to use adsense coz i wna perfect my skills first anywasy idk shit abt cpa, affliates

ok now the competition

Site 1 : PR (page) - 0, y links (page) - 30, y links (whole domain) - 55
Site 2 : PR (page) - 3, y links (page) - 2, y links (whole domain) - 200,000 (approx)
Site 3 : PR (page) - 1, y links (page) - 170, y links (whole domain) - 267
Site 4 : PR (page) - 0, y links (page) - 101, y links (whole domain) - 524

What? Not just gonna jump in and say yes or no, its too hard... Maybe some would respond if you showed what your THOUGHT PROCESS was when picking this keyword, or why you think this is good or bad keyword.

These hold my hand posts get pretty annoying, but if you show that your thinking and maybe need help with your thought process on things, you will get more replies....

I wouldn't worry too much about links to the whole domain, look at links to the PAGE of your "competitor" And when you find those links... Take a look at the PR on them, are the links GREAT links? aka 50 high pr links or 50 low quality links?

Are there image results in the SERPS for your keyword? <- because people click the damn images first instead of your page..

Are there "buying keywords" associated with the keyword?

Those numbers you posted, are only like 10% of the story.....

thought process ? i just used big g and did the basics of keyword research mentioned in one of the threads.....so was just asking gurus

Hey man why don't you download Market Samurai free trial and do a deeper research on that keyword. Also research the competition as well and post here some screenshots. I am sure somebody will help. I will for sure.

thanks for offering help.....ms is too slow for me so i kinda hate it.moroever since its free i cant analyse competition anyways screenshot for free module ...i have bought the domain but yet to start work...anyways it will be kind if u can access this keyword
