In general deathbycaptcha is the cheapest and they solve quick but with scrapeboard unless there is a trick that I do not know about every single capture service has been a complete waste of money so far.
decaptcha, deathbycaptcha, and imagetypers
ran a list of a few thousand SMF forums through SB with zero manual/service captcha solving. it successfully completed and posted about 450 profiles by itself.
not too shabby if that's what you're looking for. If i had bothered with catpcha solving I suppose the success rate would have been extremely high.

After playing around with scrapeboard for only a day I have already created 1000's of links just through testing. I have to say I am impressed so far. Was using sick submitter and seriously even if scrapeboard has lower success rates (at this stage) it is so much better. It is way quicker and easier to use. Pumps through the forums 10 x faster. And sure I have a lot of failed captchers but i am saving a fortune not using a captcher service like u must with sick. I am ending up with more links because it is so much faster and easier to use, not having to stuff around seperating diff forum types and making lists, and the free captcha breaker is actually not too bad at all, it doesnt fail ALL the time and hey its free!
The ONLY thing is that its not activating my emails, but support are doing their best to get to the bottom of it, and when that is fixed it will be just perfect

@webwowster, to speed things up, please forward the .sbema file to support. This would allow to reproduce your issue. Also do not read the activation emails via web interface, they might get tagged as read and cannot be accessed via pop (dependent on the provider used). If you did, then you need to mark all emails as unread.

Back on topic: I said it before and i'll say it again. This program even in it's beta stage is kicking all kinds of ass. I'm saving a buttload on ocr fees by having the software do those forums for me.
I'm personally looking into training up my own tersseract db and using it with scrapeboard..hmm..now there's a thought
I get the same issue. (im guessing) Its to do with how scrapeboard does email activations.
When you signup it prly is waiting to read the "please wait for email activation" page you normally see. If it sees this it puts the newly created account into a file waiting for email activation. but what happens if this confirmation page doesnt show up or if the submit goes through in a weird way? scrapeboard assumes there was an error and doesnt write the account details to the email activation file.
So what you get is a file with a handful of "waiting" but in your email account you get 100s of accounts waiting for activation. sboard refuses to activate accounts that are not in its "waiting2 list.
sboard needs to have a separate email activation that doesnt need the email activation file. I presume if you used magic submitter to activate the accounts, then you copied and pasted all the urls back into sboard and osmehow managed to save all the login/pwd details the success rate would be higher overall.
Also, they should combine profile + activation files together. since if look at the activated sboard files (sbacc) you notice that it stores login details anyway.
It only makes sense to seperate it if you are going to use a catchall email address. which im not sure hostgator allows.

"Enable logging of response pages" will help to locate such issue.
That could be realized.
Thats not possible, because the profile details are xml files, and the account files just plain text file to keep them small.
Imagine the overhead of xml when you have 10mio. url (= 10 mio. profiles). The file would be huge and loading would take forever.

I am afraid, but that's not possible in the current version.
Image analysis and Pre-processing is done in code.
Some captchas are solved without any OCR at all.

I just gave this a little run for the first time.Initially I had an issue with emails but it was my fault(needed ssl).It is VERY easy to use,in fact you can use it right off the bat.
Love it,I have set up deathbycaptcha but use the internal captcha as well.
I intend harvesting forums from all platforms,merging lists then running through scrapebox to get rid of duplicate domains and get pr rank.I am only going for decent pr forums personally but I cannot believe how easy this is to use.I have access to xrumer but it looks ALOT harder so I haven't touched it.
If this puppy is as good as this already WOW.Gotta thank the scrapeboard team(and Loopline,watched your vids and appreciate your support in general with scrapeboard) for an awesome piece of software.Anyone not jumping on this ,even at this stage is mad in my eyes.Now I'm off to blast some forums!

Yes it boosts serps,sometimes the email doesn't always work BUT don't panic.
Firstly before signing up there is a test button,where you place your email there is a tab called more,you test it there.
Name your url lists clearly here's why...
If the email doesn't initially work to verifying emails,test again and make sure your settings are good,the test will show this.Reload the sebema file for the list and you're good.You can do this later to check for emails as many don't get sent immediately.Found a load in your junk folder mark them safe and load the sebema file again it'll only activate unactivated emails(very clever same goes for the bema file for profiles) then load profile sema and it'll up to the newly found accounts,love it!

Yes, they still help, they may not be what they were a few years ago, but they are still helpful and increase SERP.
What you can do to follow up is blast your forum profiles with some blog comments from scrapebox and that is the best way to get them indexed. At the same time it will give your profiles some link juice which will all flow to your money page.
