Stop "My Journey to $$$" like Post

BHW is the best way to learn lots about Internet Marketing... But it is totally got ruined by "My journey to $$$" like posts... Most of the posts like these wont last for more than 2 weeks... So don't make such useless post... It makes others to difficult to access the forum...

I say, keep making those posts.
They serve as a little social pressure for the OP to complete his goals. If 5 out of 10 threads will stimulate the OP or any reader to take an continue to take action I say it is worth the 5 crappy threads.

I like them in my opinion.

1) They give newbies some inspiration
2) If you read through them you will see the newbies asking question, and the experienced members answering them and giving tips. I personally have learnt a LOT from those type of threads, just from reading through them.

They can be annoying when people make them and never update them, but some people genuinely use them for motivational purposes, and taking note of your progress and logging it on a forum like this can definitely help motivate you!

Some of the threads are useless. But there are post which boosts up newbies as said by contentcreation. We can learn atleast one new idea from those kinds of threads.

I agree. When people see the whole plan by the ones who make such thread, they get a lot of inspiration.

I like the threads, its good to see other peoples methods. And if they don't get updated you know the method didn't work and the thread gets buried anyways.

Its better than all the SB and AMR threads with people complaining because they cant get their links indexed.

I don't like the live threads were the person is just starting out.

I like the ones where the Op has already made it and is sharing his method.

I also like the ones were somebody is trying to get back to their original earnings after they have been banned or had their websites hacked or were sandboxed!

To OP.. if people didn't post their journey threads this forum would be missing some good information. If you don't think they should be posted here then there is something wrong with you buddy. They help out and inspire newbies, help the posters keep on track, and teach the community valuable information. Even if only 1 out of 10 had valuable information thats better than none right?

Some are a great source of information/ inspiration and more importantly they show methods which do and do not WORK.

The ones which don't last more than a few weeks will fall of the radar naturally.

I think grossly miscategorized complaint threads like this one are more detrimental to the content quality than a few journals here and there. If nobody is interested, the threads fall to the bottom of the pile, no harm done. What's 10,000% more annoying and problematic are people like the OP who post threads willy nilly with no regard for categorization and leave a never ending mess for us to clean up.

ps - moved from the "making money" section to "forum suggestions and feedback". Maybe try to practice what you preach? Have a nice day
