There are a few gems in with dirt and as has been said if they fizzle out naturally or drop out due to lack of interest there is no harm done.
My only wish would be that the ones that fizzle out due to not reaching their goals would keep " the journey" going so people learn from the failure, also other members may be inspired to offer help or advice and so enrich the post.
there have been some pretty epic journal threads in the past.
for an example, lets say that:
only 10% of journal threads are useful.
unuseful threads last for less than 10 posts.
useful threads last for over 200 posts.
then in this case, over two-thirds of posts generated from journal threads are useful, so we should definitely continue to allow them.
Why? Some newbies even benefit from it from the motivation. Don't be so heartless OP and if bothers you that much then simply ignore it. Is it THAT hard? Gz
@ OP I agree these are just junk threads were people brag about how much money they make when the real people making money don't brag they get to work !!
