can you please guide me with this.

ALWAYS see the exact search count. Here it is less than 12, not even worth a cent! Even if you rank #1 for that keyword, you may hardly get 4 or 5 visitors per day!

I usually don't go for a keyword if the *exact* search volume is less than 1000(you need to see the CPC also if you are gonna monetize it with ads@nse). But if find a niche with multiple easy to rank *related* keywords with search volume less than 1000, I choose the high search volume among them as main keyword and target other keywords by creating separate posts for each keywords.

another question the keyword I'm ranked 10 on google when I do Inurl:"keyword" and intitle"keyword" my site dosen't show up. I do show up with Intitle:"keyword"

I followed this, but didnt see anything about how many local searches you shoudl look for, so I went with 900+. Mistake. They say, you take that number and divide it by 3 and thats how many monthly searches you will see, if in number 1 spot. So, for a 900 keyword, your looking at 300 per month. IF you are number 1.

The monthly searches have nothing to do with the place your site gets in G SERP... otherwise I haven't heard anything about dividing the searches by 3 to get the exact monthly searches, but I tend to believe because of 2 reasons:

1. The monthly searches that G keyword tool shows are always the same for my keywords since I started IM (it's just few months, but still)

2. One of my websites gets #4 for a local/exact keyword with monthly 4.400 searches and #10 for another keyword with local/exact monthly 2.900 and I hardly get more than 20 visits a day or 600 monthly.

Use MS (market samurai) to see how many searches a keyword gets.

I have found that google keyword research tool gives you a figure that is around 3 times as much as the REAL figure.

I think they do it to incentivize marketers/advertisers so they can spend money with Google adwords etc.
