Im getting probed like crazy lately.. or Bing,yahoo and Google or using Scrapebox. Thats what someone is using for test links lately.. why not at least make a web 2.0 site and use that for a test url?

Well I knew it was scrapebox, that's pretty obvious, and I don't think they are smarter than me... #1 because their post got moderated. #2 because they are trying to add to wordpress (most of which are nofollow and not autoapprove and moderated). #3 my spins don't read like this.

So tell me this...

My blogs are so spammed that I wouldn't know if I even got a real comment. I never even touch them. The way wp lists them it'd take forever to sift through thousands.

I wonder how these comments get into the system anyway.

I have over 19k damn comment on my Google News Approved site.
And I would just like to shut this out.

I love crappy comments, they're great footprints to go hunting with to make SB lists with for blasting forum links etc.
Bad grammar, typo's etc - all wonderful footprints to be picked at.

As for mass delete plugin, here one, never tried it myself tho..

Why don't you guys just install SI Captcha Anti-Spam? It's a great plugin and will eliminate a lot of spam from coming through.

I like the spam.. as I mentioned above, gives me great footprints to harvest for feeding to SB.

I pop-in to my blogs daily, move the comments i want to trash - and the crap ones to spam and empty spam.

Then when i have a decent amount of comments in trash, i use the exporter function and save the lot.

I have a small script that rips through the saved export file and pulls out the comment info (name, email, address, comment) to a db.
From there, i can harvest potential backlink urls using the comment target url, email/name as footprint if unique enough and use comment (or part of ) to harvest from

I use SB for url PR check and alive check, prune out the higher PR DF ones for manual posting and go through the usual SB checking to create blast lists.

Probably, it's no secret method etc, but I would need to tidy it up a bit though.

I'll clean it up at the weekend and pop it on here as a new thread in the downloads section - I'll drop a note in here to pointing to it.

To make it easier for all, I'll make it pump out a csv file rather than inserting to database too.

I just installed disqus comments on one of my blogs so I could get the backlinks from my disqus comments out there on the web I have already made and I noticed that blog had almost 600 comments in the spam filter.. I looked at the first 10 and they were all SB/Xrumer creations.. and we wonder why G devalued them in the last update?

Because some guides on here told people to use fake urls.

But I agree with you. Use web2.0 or AMR links.
