Alright, I know this is kind of weird to ask because i'm selling the product on this site, but I've made it no secret that my expertise is in writing software and not marketing.
I need help from you guys on how I could go about marketing my product (poll factory) to a wider audience.
When i wrote Poll Factory 1.0, I really didn't market it at all (the only promotion that was done was a blog post from Ruck at CashTactics.net). The reason i never went "bigger" is because I wasn't confident enough in my product to support it on a larger scale
With the release of Poll Factory 2.0, I'm beyond confident that the product works and is well worth it's asking price. I'm in the process of buying a new home, and I'd really like to go "big" with poll factory to help with the down payment. The problem, is that I have no idea where to start and I'm hoping you guys can throw me some ideas.
So far the only promotion i've done has been on this forum, and on ppc-coach. I've contact a couple of "big name" bloggers asking for a product review, but have only heard back from one of them. I know Im just another guy looking for a review to them, not really sure how to "stand out" and grab their attention.
Any marketing ideas and pointers are appreciated.
Thanks,
-Eric
