Dummass question - can you do muliple keywords and see if you rank in the non competing first and then work forward to the more competative words after wards??

would you say 1,680,00o was competative? we are already 7th

And how would a competitor spot this trail and using which tool could they? ( not such a dummass question )

I look at competitive KWs a little different than most so the 1.6MM number is not something that I look at.

Generally when I work to rank a site, I work on the easier KWs and work my way to the hardest ones as that gets me traffic very fast.

I don't know that a competitor could follow the trail and never really cared... I know if I get my sites ranked, I'll make money and if they want to compete with me, go ahead... I've almost never concerned myself with what the other guy was doing.

Just to make it easy, I'll be posting the Coupon Code for the BHW members periodically.

Here's the BHW coupon - B5EEDB4E63 or 323957875A

It will give you 10% off your subscription and it is a recurring coupon so
it will be active for you as long as that subscription remains active.

Also you can DL our Best Practices E-Book here - http://linkpushing.net/blog/faq/253/

And our Video Tutorials here - http://linkpushing.net/blog/video-tutorials/

Thanks!

Well I can tell you that I have a couple of keywords with 1 push each, the first one has over 6 million results and I am at #9 and the second one has 13.5 million results and I am #10 there, so the amount of competition does not matter. What really matters is the strength of that competition.

As to how a competitor would spot the trail, if Google can not find it then a competitor will not. That is, not without a lot of work. You see to find what you are doing they have to follow EVERY link up the chain individually. I can tell you that with one link push of mine for last month I have around 3k links in that push. Yes I said one push. What I did after the month was over was run a SB blast to all the properties that essentially gave the single push 3k links from top to bottom. Individually, each property received around 50 links from SB. But if you were to look at my site, there are only 8 links to that page and it sits at #9 right now....

TN, thanks for sharing :)
Just to see if I understand correctly - you do small individual blasts to each property, one-by-one? (Rather than loading up all the properties in the "websites" list at the same time, for one big blast?)

Nope I did one big blast to every property for the month. I wait a week after the last push before I do this then I blast them all a once. The new file format is exactly what is needed for Paper-Boy to provide his services. I highly recommend him also as he can do it cheaper than I if I account for my time. While he is doing that I can write some more content.

EDIT: I do not blast the $$ site with this SB blast only the link push properties.

You may get some insite here: http://linkpushing.net/blog/faq/253/
as I talk about using SB with Linkpushing in the e-Manual.

And I agree with TNphoneman, Paper-Boy is an excellent provider.

OK, that's what I figured - I just was confused by this:

Individually, each property received around 50 links from SB.

Since I figured each property would receive thousands of links from SB, not 50, if you blasted them all at once.

At any rate, thanks for the help :)

Hi,

In March-April I had 10 linkpushes. Still all the urls from private network fails to show the page, which was there before.

There were no PN urls in the report for the linkpush submitted on 19/4/2011.
------------------
From all those links with every push we get, I believe only the PN links were showing in Google Webmaster Tools under linked Domains -

I think about 10 days back I had 231 domain links to my site and next day it dropped to 197. (I had 188 when I started)

I have already sent you a pm.

Very much worried about this.

The PN is experiencing some growing pains and are dealing with server issues... they will be on and off online as they get those issues resolved. We do not own that particular network so our hands are a bit tied up in that situation.

My first linkpush completed yesterday with 34 links. What is the purpose of not blasting them in SB right away? Just to let Google find the links by themselves first?

If you blast them with SB right away, it will not look natural and you want things to look natural to Google.

I have found that, yes. I think it depends on the site but I've had some found within hours.

Do you need to do this SB ( whatever that is please??? ) Scrapebox? Scary Blowtorch? and X rumer blast action or can you get results without?

It's Scary Blowtorch... how you figured that out is amazing!

No, you don't need to do anything else if you choose not to... using scrape box or xrumer on the urls created just gives the Linkpush a boost... I've been building them for several years and just recently started hitting them with scrape box and even then I don't blast all of my linkpushes.

@ xfinityinformation - I often get reports from our clients that their sites dance some after doing a linkpush so it does happen.

If you are not looking at your rankings daily, you may not notice it. I don't check my sites' rankings every day and for many of my sites, I never check the rankings... if the traffic is coming in, I know that they are still ranked where they are supposed to be ranked.

Advice?

I have 12 pushes..

Submit 6 keywords 6 or the same URLs.

Then Submit another 6 for extended pushes for one two or three of the above...

OR

F*(CK it dive in and create 12 pushes one for each keyword spreading the URLS around?

I am assuming you can x rumer the hell out of your SEO props when you feel you like within reason right?

Thanks - I pride myself on antonyms I use Googles Antonymn Finder Sense Spy checker Samurai tool for that mostly.

I only have 1 site... the competitor is killing me badly ... so I check cause each day I am below them they laugh .. this is a mirco niche that just got very competative and so I have to be number 1 as I am SEO Balboa and will not stop until I get results. If he dies... he dies.

You would be best served emailing me - [email protected] your url and KWs and I'll give you some specific advice on your situation.

I wanted to share this with you all. No the site will not get sandboxed and here is some proof. Greg recommends 5 pushes to a new site but I went ahead and went for it. I am not pushing the root domain but the interior pages. Each line in yellow has had 1 linkpush and that is all. This site happens to be 2 days shy of 1 month old. I still have 5 pushes to go this month. The ones ranking on the front page get an average of 2k local and 3k global searches. The ones on page 2 get around 1500 and the ones on page 3 get 9k.

Just wanted to update on my youtube test. The video I sent a push to has moved from 14th to 3rd in youtube results. Yahoo is showing 2 links to the page. The push was completed April 14th. I have ordered a scrapebox blast to 11 pushes but have not received the report for that yet, so I assume this result is just from the linkpush alone. Hopefully the 1k or so scrapebox comments will push it even higher.

I've just ordered a 10-15k blast to another push which has only very minimal success up to now, so will update on that in a week or so.

By the way the text file with keywords for all pushes isn't working properly. It is showing one push's KW for most of the urls.
