Yup, I used even more conservative parameters and still no luck:

Private proxies 1:1 ratio
Foollow 50-100 people before replies (some followed back)
Used 2 normal tweets for 2 replies
Delay was 400-600 sec!!!

Still got banned, every single account.

Thanks. Helps if we can report back here with different techniques. :) Submitted a ticket. Waiting to hear back from support. Hopefully Jayson will post here with an ETA on a patch. As opposed to more posts by the affiliates cheer squad.

I asked, they said in a few days the should have new features to help prevent this from happening. :congrats:

TweetAttacks is a great software, now I am using it for my personal account and I have over 50k followers. I dont make much money from this, but it helps my online presence. Btw, if someone wants to post on my Twitter account, just PM and we may make a deal! ;)

Seem to be if the IP was EVER abused that and you use it as a proxy that account is pretty much gone it didn't seem to be so bad before with abused proxies.

If that's the case, RIP, Tweet Attacks. :(

Was afraid of this. Sounds like Facebook all over again. Maybe Jayson will pull off a hail Mary pass, but it's gonna be tough if Twitter is effectively filtering all proxies used with dummy accounts.

Error Online you have been silent on this subject, what is going on. By far the most powerful feature of TA is the wait and reply. We are grateful for its development. I have had 256 of my 300 accounts suspended. The only ones spared were the ones that were not running on TA at the time of the suspension.

The accounts suspended had a mixture of private and public proxies. They were posting only 50 at mentions per account per day. The accounts are a mixture of aged and new.

Based on this and what I have read on BHW I don?t get the suspension pattern.

I THINK CLARICE COMMENTS WARRANT ATTENTION.

Please let us know if it is time to abandon the wait and reply module, or if a patch or algorithm is in the works to deal with the massive suspensions which are obviously occurring (meaning let?s not debate this point MASSIVE SUSPENSIONS ARE OCCURING). What?s the time line for the patch and how sustainable will it be (meaning is it going to be a QUICK FIX till twitter clamps down again).

I understand that many users use the software without knowledge, but to your users who practice conservativeness by:

Adding backgrounds and pictures to profiles
Aging accounts, let the account sit for one week
Verifying Emails
Using Private Proxies
And limiting the NUMBER of AT mentions per account per day

WE, your readers would love to hear your comments on the MASSIVE SUSPENSIONS.

MY THOUGHTS: Is twitter reading the IP that is running TA

Regards, M

We are very much aware of that and we are working on it for many weeks now. We just released version 2.6.0 which is suppose to be part of a bigger update.

Here are the changes.
2.6.0.0
- Wait and Reply: Added way to add normal tweets from a directory (all text files from the selected directory will be loaded to the selected accounts)
- Wait and Reply: Added way to not run accounts at the same time
- Wait and Reply: Added way to stop a task after x number of posts and rotate the tasks
- Added new module: Tweet Scraper Advance
- Much faster and more effective than the first Tweet Scraper

Twitter is banning accounts from same IPs based on their activities and not on IPs alone.

In 2.6 we added ability to use your accounts in a less aggresive way and in a more random manner.

Now, you can set the number of tasks to run at the same time, and you can choose to pause the tasks after certain number of tweets and it will proceed to the next tasks and rotate it.

That way, accounts will not post tweets in a very detectable pattern (interval).

You should also post more normal tweets now. We added a new module Tweet Scraper Advance for you to scrape tens of thousands in few minutes so you will not have a problem creating them.

Based on our tests, they are more strict in unverified accounts now. Now, if you post around 2-5 @replies with links on unverified accounts within an hour, there is a very high chance that account will get suspended immediately.

We are also suspecting other reasons so there will be more features to come.

Thanks for the update error...!

How does the new scraper work? Can it crawl several pages? Can I use it with Twitter search, or where?

Welcome back,

And thank you for the insight.

I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED THIS....THANKS
{Now, you can set the number of tasks to run at the same time, and you can choose to pause the tasks after certain number of tweets and it will proceed to the next tasks and rotate it.}

Hopefully back to business as usual

TA is an Excellent Product, and with top notch Technical Support.

Thanks for your patience and excellent support in helping a small IM's like myself.

I used TA AC with fresh ISP allocated proxies.

All accounts got banned on day 3. They were gapped and on 3 sub nets :)

All proxy headers were same as standard ISP IP.

Then I created more accounts with same IPs they did last.

Seems that TA AC is buggy. Perhaps it does not randomizing sending local timezone data and OS data when acting as browser.

TA itself. Its pretty ok. However at the moment I decide not to invest heavily in it. Imagine creating profitable long term accounts that get banned due to some identifiable TA pattern.

Jayson can you comment more fully how TA and TA AC address browser fingerprinting?

It could work better if say 1 TA per VPS with 1 IP on say 400 VPS with remote control panel.

Jayson do you plan to offer multiple VPS license with 1 remote control panel? Otherwise cost can be a bit too high given fact its closed box soft.

Anyone aware of anything else that could be used to detect that TA is running?

Maybe for simpler tasks a zennobot template can be created?

Thank you Error, great support and you man are just awesome!

Did you test the results with the new patch?
If we make 5 groups of 50 accounts that rotate, if we verify them with verified hotmail accounts, if we put pictures, location etc..and if we mix a lot of normal tweets, and use private proxies for each account, will accounts stay alive? I will test this myself, but still I would like to hear your findings?

Also do you think if it is true that once your accounts gets banned because of spam, does twitter send a crawler to your landing page and bans all other accounts that link to that landing page (flagged as spam pages)?

Thank you so much, I hope you will catch some time to answer this questions :)

The new update is GREAT, but there's one thing I don't like and it is when accounts get suspended during Wait & Reply activity, they keep on retrying to "Emulate Human behavior", and so I have to stop all tasks in Wait & Reply to change that account or remove that line. Previous version didn't have it, account got suspended, I could simply change the account on the list and hit "Start Wait & Reply" for the recently added/changed task.

Great update Jay! Love it

Thanks guys, there are still small things that need to polish in the new features and I need your help spot them all. Recommendations are very much welcome.

We test everything we release. Rotating the accounts and giving long idle time before batch of posts will make them last longer. I also think that they can crawl the urls you are sending and they can detect where it is really going but they cannot suspend accounts that are tweeting to a certain website. There are many good websites out there are constantly tweeting by real accounts. The link and destination page I think is just a small factor.

I dont think, TA is giving footprints in the headers. I have hundreds of WH accounts using TA and not get banned.

I dont want to comment on the headers TA is sending because this is a public thread but I dont think there is any problem with the headers.

Never tried it with twitter search but it should work. It works best in blogs, articles directories and news websites and you can only put one root page at a time.

Excellent update! Nice work, Jayson. Will run the W&R overnight and report back.

The advanced scrape module is a real time saver. Super nice enhancement. I noticed a minor interface bug, where if the scraped tweets window is in the forefront, the program will retrieve page links from the root URL entered, but will not scrape those page URL's for content. Only the homepage is scraped. Works fine when the settings tab is active.

Update - W&R Results: Twitter is getting brutal.
W&R's new features allowing account rotation and greater control over normal/cash link ratio are a big help, but do not solve the problem.

For a typical affiliate campaign, Twitter's new restrictions on the ratio of normal to cash tweets is so restrictive that it would require running thousands of accounts simultaneously over a period of days to show decent conversions. This may be tenable if one is using public proxies, but for those running private proxies, since the ratio of accounts per unique proxy has also been greatly restricted it would be difficult to show a profit. The cost of proxies, time and math all work against the marketer.

ErrorOnline stated above:
Twitter is banning accounts from same IPs based on their activities and not on IPs alone.

This is partially true. My experience since Twitter rolled out new changes is that once an IP address is flagged, ALL accounts associated with that address are automatically suspended, regardless of when the accounts were created and whether they have been used to market.

Parameters: I tested intervals and ratios of replies/normal tweets using 5 day old verified and profiled accounts (pics/background/bio) with followers. Accounts were created using AC in separate batches using private proxies over that five day period (i.e., not all accounts were created on the same day). Ratio of normal tweets/replies (tweets w/ links), 3:1. I started out using very conservative interval and ratio settings, gradually using less restrictive settings in attempting to determine Twitter's new threshold for acceptable frequency of commercial links. All cash tweets linked to a landing page. None of the tweets linked directly to affiliate offers. TA campaigns were run using private proxies.

Result: If there were more than a few cash tweets within a two minute interval, the IP's were flagged and accounts suspended. Unused accounts created in a different batch and date
that shared the flagged proxies were also automatically suspended.

In short, if you 'abuse' a proxy once, all accounts that were created prior to that abusive run will be suspended . . . even if those accounts were created in separate batches and have not sent a single cash link.

ErrorOnline is correct, of course, when he states that account longevity hinges upon account activity. The question and problem is whether the level of commercial activity is restricted to the point there is no profit.

Conclusion:
Unless there are additional revisions to TA, it's not going to remain an effective marketing tool on Twitter running traditional campaigns. TA's new features are excellent and help greatly, but Twitter still has a death grip on Tweet Attacks.

Great report.

But from what I see the accounts that are created on a abused proxy are still fine until they Tweet a few cash links, of course even doing that is just asking for a quick suspension and may not be worth your time.

So the only way to avoid mass banning is clean IP's or promote a cash link once every hour lol, so in conclusion yea Twitter pretty much did us in pretty good.

Has anyone else been getting the error message 'status contains malware' when posting clickbank affiliate links ? How did you get around it ?

Try to use a co.cc domain redirect, it's free and gets the job done.

Tweet Scraper doesn't work properly with search (at least all the options I used I've failed).

It adds a lot of lines containing: "tweeted 3 minutes ago.", "tweeted from iphone" and things like that, which should be manually removed in order to use "real tweets".

Although Tweet Scraper often gives you sentences without context, we can't ask much, this is basically to avoid account suspending, not generating content for human readers...

Try adding the word "tweeted" in the ignore list to automatically filter out sentences with the word "tweeted".
