How fast is your scrapebox?

Hey all,

Just wondering how fast is SB with you guys? Please let us know

Mine:

Harvester:
80 URLs/sec (Yahoo) 50 URLs/sec (Google)

Fast poster:
Processes around 10K blogs per hour. I mean if I have a list of 100K blogs, it will take 10 hours to post to them and only 30-40% will be successful, rest failed
Same goes for link checker, around 8000 per hour.

Using public proxies

I'm using it on a 1Mbit connection LOL

What about you? Connection speed? Private/public proxies? How fast is fast poster and link checker? What about harvester?

PS: I got a little technical question too. The above stats are with 1Mbit conncetion. If i purchase some VPS for it, will it affect the speed? Hope you understand what I'm tryin' to ask LOL

Havesting is about the same on public proxies,
Fast poster on dedicated private proxies is faster around 20k and hour. Same with link check.
Internet speed isn't great, a 20mb/s line between 10 people.

Why don't you use private procxies for harvesting as well?

Posting ~90k per hour.

Yeah 90k/hour is kind of incredible...

My stats :
Harvesting : around 500URL/sec
Posting : 1k/4minutes which is 15k/hours

From home with windows xp running on a mac with parallels desktop, a 30Mb connection and public proxies.

It took me over 40 minutes to post 2000 comments on fast poster using 10 private proxies. The number of connections was set to 25 and the timeout to 90.

I check my connection speed at speedtest, and the results were as follows:

Download speed: 23.4 mbps
Upload speed: 4.17 mbps

Any advice?

LOL why are you using 25 connections? On a connection like that, I'd recommend 100-150. You should set it to 100 then increase slowly untill it it affects in bad manner

I was doing 100 before; it was just as slow even then. Do you think the problem is with the proxies?
