21/12/12 is the end of the Mayan Callender, when i get to the end of a callender i just buy another one and the Mayans cant do that because they are mostly extinct.

Seriously tho it is supposed to be when the earths poles shift, it is supposed to be the new ice age for half of the planet.

We're all gonna die .... I just know it ... We're doomed, DOOMED ! No one is getting out of here alive !

Look at the bright side, if it is then end, at least we won't have to pay taxes anymore.

but with alls thats happening round the world, you do get a feel that it is coming to an end of days situation...something has to give

This stuff always cracks me up, I cant believe people believe in such nonsense.

For me, it's not about the belief so much as the rationale (or lack of it) used to reach it.

I'd believe in any of this stuff is people had an ounce of logic in defending their position. :p

Wasn't the Japan Tsunami on March 11th, 2011?

that wouldn't make sense?

I think most people on BHW are smarter than this shit.

First of all... the dates in the original post add up to a date that's about 2000 years away, not a day in 2012. Plus, there is no basis for those dates anyway. Those are two arbitrary events out of all the terrorist attacks and natural disasters that have happened in the last decade, much less all time, and they only add up to a date that's curious for bogus reasons, and only if you are entirely inept at basic arithmetic. lol

Second, there is no basis for an event to happen near the end of 2012, based on the Mayan calendar. It's not even the end of their calendar, it's just the end of a very long cycle, and the beginning of a new one. There is no substantiated prediction for some kind of apocalyptic event, in fact, often times when one of their cycles completed, they would throw a fucking party.

So stfu and schedule a party for December 21, 2012.

Pass the brownies please :) , I will follow up by eating that doomed potato shortly ...

I do find that kind of ironic, but I would have to chalk it up to the coincidence.

The mayan calander "completes a great circle"
Aka its supposed to start over, along with the world.

Its just the end of their calender. Just like how ours ends December 31.

Oh man I got a great laugh out of this!

Here is another math trick... since I'm so damn good at math!

If you take your birthday... right... and your dad's birthday... right... and you subtract your birthday from his...right... you will get the age that he was when he had sex with your mom and conceived you! However, you must account for 9 months of error in your equation! Fkn amazing huh?

:D
