I'm not a big fan of "the sky is falling" type threads.
But I found this rather Ironic.

USA bombing- 09/11/01
+
Japan Tsunami-03/10/11

= 12/21/12

Also know as the restart of the mayan calander. The beginning of the end of the world.

The date just marks a shift in the Mayan Calendar. No apocalypses.
The mayan calander "completes a great circle"
Aka its supposed to start over, along with the world.

The last time great cycle restarted was 1618 and the world didn't end so I doubt it will this time. Just another excuse for crappy hollywood movies.

Ive been to the mayan ruins and there was no talk about the end of the world.
The mayan culture was 3500+ years ago.. theres no doubt that their calendar would be made to continue this far. everything comes to an end.

It seems to me like you added two mostly random dates from history in your own arbitrary fashion and came up with a date that reflects a bunch of silly hype based on... well, nothing.

This is illustrated in a parody of Independence Day and other Sci-Fi films by the South Park guys:

South Park said:
...The scientist discovers this at the same time on Earth by translating the binary code that resulted from reversing the polarity of the message (deducing this via word association stemming from "butt sex," a parody of Jeff Goldblum's character in Independence Day realizing to use a computer virus after hearing of a cold; Jeff's name and appearance are a reference to Goldblum) he proceeds to tell everyone, which leads the alien network heads to cancel the show and prepare to destroy the Earth. The scientist concludes that the show is cancelled thanks to associating the term "chaos theory" up to "cancelled", then uses his word association skills with the word "jackets" to come up with a plan to send the ship a computer virus to disable their computers. Chef responds, "That doesn't make any goddamned sense!"

Essentially random date association/manipulation means... nothing. These threads are all equally silly.

Have you ever had the idea that maybe the guy who was making the calendar run out of space on the rock or was just lazy to do it ? :P

But what if the scribe was the prophet of doom, and he knew that the world would end before a certain date regardless, which affected his motivations in finishing the calendar itself, thereby inadvertently demonstrating his prediction?!

*cue horror movie screeching*

it seems we still has 2000+ years left, don't we?

I didn't notice that :p
