Hey!
BHW members I got my scrapebox on Friday. I am still testing it and practicing some random stuff.

I am facing some problems,After some time scrapebox stops working plz tell me what is wrong? It doesn't crash but it stops working, I mean to say I can click to every feature but When I want to do something scrapebox shows me nothing, For example I am searching for some keywords scrapebox shows me 0 found, And If I post comments it shows all of them failed. It is happening after every few hours.

And my success rate is very low 5 to 10%.
I have 300+ fresh proxies. ( refreshing every hour).
I am on Win 7, 2GB ram 2.0Dual Core amd. 1MB connection.

Also need your great suggestions and please leave some useful material here :)

Hi Tiubles,

It might be the footprints you are using. Check out "the ultimate scrapebox advantage" ebook. You can find it here at BHW. Just search for it I think it will help you alot.

Your pc spec and 1meg line are an issue, scrapebox is very bandwidth hungry.I own it and have a 24 meg line but I am about to rent vps from hellomoto07 here on bhw which has it installed.I tried to buy it yesterday but the damn credit card company based in the us tried to charge me vat( a BIG pet hate of mine) so I used a proxy said I was in the US lol but they sussed it.It worked with clickbank!Anyway once they refund I'll try again.I never pay vat unless I see a UK vat number, which I didn't plimus or something they are called.Anyway a vps with scrapebox installed would help you alot.

You might want to try lowering you your scrapebox fast poster threads to 30 using private proxies or running blogs through blog analyzer before posting to them.

If your computer is not the problem, check the seetings to ensure you have the right ones, most especially the maximum connections and timeout settings.

How much is he renting out the VPS for?

Hey guys thanks for your suggestions.
I have transfered my scrapebox licence to my 1GBiT dedicated server. Now it is working better.

I am scraping urls for the first time as a Scrapebox noob. It's taking more than an hour, and has been stuck for a long time with no more results.

Google finished finished with 2432 urls harvested (completed)
Yahoo is still "Harvesting" with 1393 results for over an hour
Bing results are 11833 with an error 403
Aol results are 154 with an error 403

I am using a HP netbook with 2gb ram, high speed FIOS connection and public proxies (10 of them, double checked for viability).

When I click on the stop harvesting button there is no response. When I try to quit I get an error that the application is performing an operation.

Hold my hand a little, please. What is wrong here?

your problem is not having enough proxies, try to gather 50-100 proxies instead of just 10
