Great post nat3r and you've given me an idea:
I could go on for days about how hard my journey to this point has been and how deserving of this site I would be, blah, blah.

But there's always gonna be someone more deserving than me and I have been recently v lucky to have been helped by another amazingly kind guy here on BHW (won't mention name as poss not allowed to - hijacking threads n all - if ur reading you'll know who you are)

• DON'T GIVE THE SITE AWAY! - Instead allow full access to 1 person for 3-4 months at a time (Greg, you keep hosting/domain etc etc) just let the lucky candidates have full access, get the net revenue for that time and be the 'custodians'

That way the site can keep getting updated (HUGE BONUS).
Lucky candidates will have to conform to some rules to ensure the site's continued success (as earning & teaching example):

1. New content has to be added
2. Regular reports have to be made
3. New seo has to be done (at Greg's approval)

That way people learn more if they know they've only got 3/4 months and specific things to do. Also you'll spread more love that way which is what you do seem to be about man

Teach him to fish and he could feed a population for generations (if he likes fishing & teaching that is)

The difference between other forums and BHW

Other forums = People want to sell crappy products for a high price.

BHW = People want to give away high quality products for free..

Man. I love this forum... BTW, I would love to get that site too.. I am having a lot of plans for many sites. Currently I cant afford for those projects. It doesnt mean that I cant execute those projects if you dont give this site to me. I just have to wait until my two blogs earn decent money...

Like the title says, I am going to give away a free website... but there is a catch.

I'm going to get it ranked for the lucky person first.​

I started on the site yesterday and it is a fairly competitive financial niche and if you use adsense to monetize it, you will make nice money from it as the estimated CPC is 8.36.​

The local monthly volume of searches is 6600 so that is a little over 300 a day and that number has been fairly steady for the past year.​

I'm using Word Press with a few plugins and will add content at least once per day 5 days a week. I may add more than that but for sure it will get attention 5 days a week and I'll keep this thread updated.​

Thus far, I have 4 articles on the site and 3 images with the images named the main keyword phrase that I am targeting.​

I am only going to use my linkpushing service to rank it and I will keep you in the loop as to what we are doing there as well. I will not be adding any backlinks to it for a few days.​

The site is not even indexed yet since I just started it yesterday, but that will change in day or so I am sure.​

Depending on the weather today, I may add another article and I still need to clean up the theme a little as well. If the weather turns a little nicer, I'll probably not do a whole lot on it as the golf course has been calling my name.​

I haven't decided how to choose the person that gets the site so if you have some suggestions, I would appreciate it... I'd like to see it go to someone that is struggling a bit but is working hard none the less.​

The domain is a .biz and I also own the .org and the .us and although I will not do anything with them as far as content etc, I will give that to the winner as well.​

It's also sitting at Godaddy so it will be easy to push to you when the site is ranked and getting traffic.​

Here's some updates for the BHW community... I had a few minutes and did some more KW research and identified 70+ ancillary keywords that I am going to work with for this site so there will be no less than 70 unique articles 450+ words on it targeting those KWs.

I'll add 2 or 3 articles a day and as I add the articles, I will run 1 linkpush to each article to start getting the site ranked.

The total number of local monthly searches for all those keywords is 7,600,000 and the average CPC for adsense is 3.89 so you will have some higher paying KWs and some lower paying KWs if you choose to monetize it using adsense.

I also started on the ebook to give away for you folks can see what I do to build a site such as this one... I'm no genius, that's for sure, so if I can do it so can you!

i left univeristy last week because i thought that i will build a network of niche sites and once they start generating revenue i will join university again in the next semester and enjoy my student life so far i have made 3 sites but not for Adsense. i m promoting CPA offers. i used to make money from adsense back in 08 but they banned and i havent tried adsense ever since although i want to and i will! i am thankful to

While I agree that you need to spend money to make money, I am asking you if you could share any tactics for streamlining the process. For example could you promote 3 pages with each link push initially. Then do a second round where you target all the non-ranking pages individually?

I guess what I am trying to ask is if you were buying your own service would you spend the $500 initially to rank all pages or ease into it more slowly?

I will be building one complete linkpush to each page targeting several KW as well.

I have the main KW for the site in each linkpush as well as 2 other ones. One of the other KW will be the KW I am targeting for that particular page and the other KW will be one of the harder to rank for KWs.

If I was my own client, I would not target all 70 pages right away but would rather build the backlinking structure slower.

It will appear more natural for one and it will also show the search engines that you have consistent links going to your sites.

Thank you very much for replying to my question so quickly. I am pretty sure I understand but I like to use examples to solidify this in my wee brain.

So, one possible set of 'best practices' would include the following:

1. Build the site in stages, maybe start with 20 pages and then add a few pages every day/week, etc.
2. If your MAIN keyword was 'red widgets' and 3 of the SECONDARY keywords were 'shiny red widgets', 'glossy red widgets', 'widgets from Mexico' and a complimentary MAIN keyword would be 'scarlet widgets, you could
- create 3 link pushes
- for 'shiny red widgets', the link push would target 'shiny red widgets', 'red widgets' and 'scarlet widgets'
- for 'glossy red widgets', the link push would target 'glossy red widgets', 'red widgets' and 'scarlet widgets'
- for 'widgets from Mexico', the link push would target 'widgets from Mexico', 'red widgets' and 'scarlet widgets'
3. As you add more content, add another link push using a similar method of selecting the keywords

Btw, apart from this demo/case study, have you done any other testing that you can share the effectiveness of linkpushing? The reason I ask is that I am curious about budgeting (as you can tell from my line of questions).

You can, and I have, but it is wise to have other backlinks going to your site so it looks natural to Google et al.

Well I'll leave my little history here as I have nothing to loose now because I've lost kinda all the work I've done.

Short history: I started in Internet marketing last year in november, starting to learn wordpress, reading tutorials and some books which apparently made me waste my time because from november to january I was mostly reading stuff ( lots of "guru" stuff and nonsense ), so in january I started my first real website ( I was experimenting with blogspot and wordpress.com at first as I was testing various " win 12315125.15125 / day methods and I couldn't afford hosting + dommain, so free at that moment was the way to go for me ).

Anyways, after 3 days of checking keywords ( I was a noob at that time ) I stumbled upon a preety good keyword which in MS showed me if I was nr 1 I would get like 300 + visitors a day. I choosed some category keywords and started posting to the website. Little by little it started to grow ( I was wasting my time doing manually profile links,web 2.0,comments,article submissions to no-follow directories and other mistakes ).... anyways after 2 months I was nr 6 and getting around 100-112 visitors a day <= this was at my best because on average before hitting 100 visitors, I was averaging somewhere around 50-75 ) , I was happy, using some amazon CPA i was starting to sell some things and got about 49 $ in my account ( I was excited and couldn't wait to get to 100 $ so I could get my first check ).

Well my " happiness " lasted approximately 8 days because after I stumbled upon a "good" seo book I started messing with my titles, descriptions, theme and after I would finish seoing my site, I thought that my rankings would get up.

Well, after 2 days my site was ranking 566 from the 6th position and at that moment averaging somewhere around 6-10 visitors a day.

Totaly ruined...atm I have 2 more websites ( 1 website is a mistake because I only get 0.1-0.16 per click <= I didin't knewed for what to look if you want to make it CPC, and the other is in construction as atm I am writing some articles and the selected niche has an average of 3 $ CPC... )

I can't really afford any more websites because I spent just to much money on "nothing" and didin't get anything back...

I would be pleased to have a website that could make me even 1 $/day so I can pay my hosting, to keep me in the game and also keep the rest for black dayz... but I think that for me to get 1$ +/day I need to work to my newest website to get it ranked and I know I will not see a buck in at least 2 months..sad

Atm I'm writing articles,reading the blackhatworld everyday and doing off site optimization ( backlinks ) to the low paying niche ( so I can get some $ in )
