I'm Giving away a Free Website - Journal

Like the title says, I am going to give away a free website... but there is a catch.

I'm going to get it ranked for the lucky person first.

I started on the site yesterday and it is a fairly competitive financial niche and if you use adsense to monetize it, you will make nice money from it as the estimated CPC is 8.36.

The local monthly volume of searches is 6600 so that is a little over 300 a day and that number has been fairly steady for the past year.

I'm using Word Press with a few plugins and will add content at least once per day 5 days a week. I may add more than that but for sure it will get attention 5 days a week and I'll keep this thread updated.

Thus far, I have 4 articles on the site and 3 images with the images named the main keyword phrase that I am targeting.

I am only going to use my linkpushing service to rank it and I will keep you in the loop as to what we are doing there as well. I will not be adding any backlinks to it for a few days.

The site is not even indexed yet since I just started it yesterday, but that will change in day or so I am sure.

Depending on the weather today, I may add another article and I still need to clean up the theme a little as well. If the weather turns a little nicer, I'll probably not do a whole lot on it as the golf course has been calling my name.

I haven't decided how to choose the person that gets the site so if you have some suggestions, I would appreciate it... I'd like to see it go to someone that is struggling a bit but is working hard none the less.

The domain is a .biz and I also own the .org and the .us and although I will not do anything with them as far as content etc, I will give that to the winner as well.

It's also sitting at Godaddy so it will be easy to push to you when the site is ranked and getting traffic.

The site is actually a business type based niche and the extension won't hurt it... I have a .biz that is doing well and a .org that is doing well and they are in related niches to the one that I am giving away.

The .biz is much newer so there has been less work done to it so it is not ranking like the .org but I see no issue getting it ranked.

All I have on it now is the All in one Seo pack but that is because I haven't set up the site completely. After the weekend, I'll have the rest of the plugins in place and post them here.

Also, you and I have talked some in the past and although that is very respectful that you are calling me sir, please don't. We are equals so please either call me BTB, Basstrackerboats or Greg.... although I'm an older guy, I'm not old enough to be called sir.

Interesting, will you be keeping us updated on the rankings each day, how many linkpushes you are doing and how they are linking? It would help us to give us a better template/idea to work with and build upon, and would also boost confidence/sales in your service too!

I sure will... I am not going to do any offsite seo for a few days as I want to get some more content on it and finish setting up my plugins and clean up the theme a little.

You might consider having candidates write and submit articles for the site. Pick a different topic each week. It would give you free content for your site and you can judge the winner based upon who gives you the best and most original articles.

I'm really excited to see how this thread progresses because I've followed your sale thread with a lot of interest (Just haven't had the money to order anything yet! I'm definitely going to though). You seem like a really genuine person and it shows through in your business!

Will you be using the autospun system where it grabs already written articles for your linkpushes or will you write your own articles and manually spin them? I am still weighing the possible consequences of indiscriminate autospinning as I haven't stepped into that territory before.

I'll be using the entire automated section on our site... enter my keywords, url and pick a category... Kevin has done an outstanding job coding that.
