I found some scraper out there posting exact duplicates of my content all over the article directories. I traced down his affiliate ID (he thinks he is so cleaver cloaking his links, HAHAHA) and I reported them to the cpa networks who are terminating his CPA accounts!
WORD TO THE WISE! If you are going to directly rip content without spinning it, your CPA accounts will eventually be banned (at least they will if you rip MY original content, or anyone else who knows how to handle this problem!). There is NO WAY to cloak your links from someone who knows how to trace it (and its not very difficult), so if you think you are safe to steal just because you cloak your links you are dead wrong.
If you are a victim of this problem, here is how I approached it:
I called the CPA network (this idiot used the same CPA networks I use, so it was real easy cuz I talk to my aff managers all the time and have been very friendly to them for years) I told them what was happening, emailed them the proof, showed them how I decloaked the link, and handed their affiliate id to them on a silver platter. I told them they needed to contact this person and ban their account. I "NICELY" said, I obviously don't WANT to do this, but this HAS TO STOP, and if it doesn't I'd have no choice but to serve the CPA network themself with a DMCA complaint, and I'd have to subpoena them into court. They were very understanding and accomodating and furious about it as I am one of their top affiliates and they have seen how much I've dropped off in conversions.
I know this is blackhatworld and all, and some people will think I should just suck it up and accept the theft... but hey, the way I see it is this... *2* can play "blackhat games". Steal money from me, and I will steal money from you!
With this farmer update flushing out dupe content, we NEED to crack down on this and I for one am going to be a vindictive prick to anyone who steals from me! I lost thousands of dollars because of this BS. If you are going to rip content, don't do it from the guys in the top 3, and at LEAST spin the shit if you're going to do it!
