Starting an Adult Webcam Studio! Advice Needed!

Hey,

I`m seriously thinking about setting up my own adult webcam studio and then selling the content to a webcam network.

First some background information:

I live in an Eastern European country so we have lots of beautiful girls around here. Also the unemployment rate has went up quite much so I`m sure that there are girls around who would take part in such a business.

So anyway my Russian friend just moved back from Norway and asked if I have an idea in where he could invest some money...and I basically had him agreeing on starting the webcam business

Has anybody done this kind of a business here or has some good pointers?

What I`m planning to do next is to set up a webpage which has like an extensive FAQ section so I wouldn't have to explain to every girl that no this is not prostitution etc.
Then I`d post the job offer in job sites and also do some local targeted adwords campaign. Also I`d post the job to some popular local forums where women hang out.
Also i`d get like 5 good Logitec webcams.

Apart from this only thing thats left to do is signing up to the webcam pages as a studio.

So if you have any recommendations or advice on any part of this process then it would be very appreciated!

I was doing the above, however I only recruit models for sites that:

1 - get the girls online and working FAST (i.e. Same Day, no B.S.ing around with "we don't like her profile pic, we need 10 forms of i.d., etc.")

2 - Allow me to choose my percentage of the girls pay and PAY THEM DIRECTLY FOR ME. I don't want the burden of starting an LLC just to pay girls that may or may not stick around long term.

I own a webcam site and we pay models 60% commisions. Studios set their percentage and we can pay your models for you then send you your percentage. Also girls are able to record shows and set a price for viewing. That way they (as well as you) have a potential to earn money while offline.

Search around, there are better rates for the models. I've talked to a few 'models' and some sites pay as high as 75% and some as low as 50%. It's up to you to find a place, what I've noticed is the less popular sites tend to pay more, especially fetish related sites. If you're starting your own site, you're going to want to set up a nice rabbit hole, including tax havens where the checks are sent out from and have some dodgy lawyers.

I posted a thread very similar as I am trying to set one up for a club owner who has the girls but wants to add extra profit. I get a % cut out of it for setting it up. I will be doing research until I can get the job done. Maybe we can bounce ideas to each other and both get set up.
I even recruited a "little person" (midget, dwarf, etc) if anyone knows how else i can manage/market her to make us both $. Hit me up or reply plox.
