so i got a note from ebay today saying my account was suspended. i was wondering why. i am new to this, but my feedback is 100% positive. maybe i am selling too much? i average 10-15 items a day for sale. mostly it is one product. any ideas? i do order my stuff from china, but it isnt like i am selling fake purses. as far as i can tell these are all legit. here is the note. please tell me if i am screwed and also if i should send them the documents they are asking for, or if they are gonna ban me from shopping in china. thanks

Your listing activity has been restricted to ensure a safe trading
environment for you and the eBay Community, as well as allow us to
confirm some information including your identity and your current
business practices.

I understand that this process may seem confusing, please allow me to
explain a little more. We?re committed to reducing both fraud and
negative buying experiences on the site. To maintain a safe marketplace,
we sometimes restrict selling activity, end active items, or suspend
accounts until additional information can be verified or obtained.
These actions are not necessarily meant to be a reflection of your
account?s activity, but rather a preventative measure.

You can review the eBay User Agreement here:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/user-agreement.html

We'd be happy to review your account and, if possible, adjust your
selling restriction to allow additional activity to take place.

In order for us to review your account, I need to ask you to submit all
of the following information by fax (fax number below):

- Documentation that shows that you purchased the item(s) recently
listed for sale on eBay. Documentation that will help us verify your
items can include either manufacture invoices or receipts.
Unfortunately, we will be unable to accept photos of the items to
fulfill this requirement.

-- Important --
- Make sure that your name and User ID appear on each document that you
submit. If this information is not included, it cannot be processed.
- Be sure your submitted documents are current, valid, and legible.

Fax all documents to:
eBay

-- Note --
- It may take up to 3 business days to review your information.
- All documents submitted will be destroyed after we review them.

We appreciate your cooperation in resolving this matter as quickly as
possible and look forward to receiving your documentation.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Brian L.

to give more details and i guess to show how stupid i am....

about 3 weeks ago i started using my account again that i hadnt really touched in 2 years. i went from 5 up to about 12-15 items a day for sale. average price these sell for is $40-60. like i said, perfect feedback so far. but i am assuming that i am getting flagged for selling a lot of the same item. so again, do i send the documentation? or will they see it came from china and ban the account?

the only other thing is that i still need to send 57 items. maybe they see that as a risk because possibly i could be selling stuff i dont have or never plan to have? i have sent over 100 items so far, but maybe this is their problem. if so, once everything is shipped and tomatically drop the suspension?

finally, do i just need to forget this account and work on another?

yea, but i havent had any complaints. i just got new emails saying that i had 2 items listed that violated their policy. also it appears they have limited my paypal. ugh

They don't care that you have no cases or claims. And as I know there is no way to keep your account working 100%. Suspends and etc. is inevitable.

+1 there especially if the suspension was based on products that were being sold that are against Ebay policy.

Don't send the documentation. It's time for you to go stealth. If you send the documentation, they will only accept your purchase invoices if they are from an "authorized reseller"

The same thing happened to me! They don't like china products even though everything is made in china!!!

LOL - Looks like Ebay doesn't think whatever you are selling is legit. Better be sure...
