I have been deindexed - Linxboss?

Hi -
I have recently had 2 of my sites deindexed. I cannot tell when it happened, but it may have been last month.
I had been using Linxboss to get backlinks to both those sites. Both are affiliate sites - one was built Sept 2010 and the other is over 2 years old - maybe Sept 2009. The older one has 265 pages (which used to be indexed).

Has anyone had problems since last google update with sites they use Linxboss on? I am now afraid to use it.

Anyone ever had any luck getting sites reindexed?

I had been using linxboss up until recently. I got rid of it before the latest G update though and have not had any problems with my sites.

after recent G updates most of the automated backlinking services basically became less worth and has more negative then positive effect on your rankings

Yeah- not talking about the links being given less value, but actually being deindexed. and I haven't really been doing anything else with this site, besides some social bookmarking

I'm sure it does. I am just trying to figure out what they are basing their deindexing on, in this case. I know they were planning on downgrading the usefulness of links coming from 'linkfarms' (but not necessarily deindex sites pointed to by them).

So What I'm looking for in this post is specifically other Linxboss users - and wanting to find out if they ave had problems since the latest update (or ever)

Got deindexed. Not linxboss but lotta other linking methods.
My observation: no correllation with the fact of promotion, i.e. I have sites I didn't promote, some are indexed, some deindexed 10 march. I have sites I used to promote heavily - some are indexed some deindexed 10 march.
Haven't find any system in deindexing. The only thing I found - they deindexed ALL sites made till date of Oct 2010. But some younger sites are deindexed as well.
Generally I've lost 2,5K/MO. Give me Brinn here I'll kill him!

It's not difficult for Google to figure out that linxboss is a business that sells links; it's also not difficult for Google to figure out which sites linxboss has in its network either.

You probably got de-indexed because of your site's association with linxboss' network.

You have to bear in mind that a drop in your rankings is like a 2-5 year sentence, while de-indexing is like "life". When you get de-ranked, that is Google give you a bit of time to clean up your act; de-indexing is saying "go away, you are a threat to our search engine.

I had a thread here a few weeks ago with the same problem. My site got back on the serps though. Yours most likely will too. Google does some weird shit.

sales. I could kill the whole first page of competitors and still make profit.

That sucks!!!! On a positive note: Google apparently figure out that they penalized some very ligit, quality sites, and added 'another layer' (their wording) to the algoritm changes. And a number of people have said their sites have come back. In fact my own site that I was talking about here has come back. But I am still worried about something like Linxboss in the long run.

I'm not sure how google would know that Linxboss is where you can buy links and find all their site - unless they join it themselves and harvest the data over time (which they could do). If I were just a person who was making comments, guest blogs (which is what LB may be closest to), and forum posts on a bunch of different sites that I was interested in - whether they are related to the linked business niche or not, it would be perfectly legit backlinks. Say for example I am part of a 'mommy's forum' and the moms get to talking about their favorite yoga studio in town or their favorite online site to get grocery coupons, etc..... if they put the links to those sites, they are giving legit backlinks. If Google then discounts those links, then they are basically no longer saying that backlinks matter as a form of popularity. HOWEVER, I don't know this to be fact and am obviously concerned or I wold not have made this post. I guess I
m waiting to see what other Linxboss users experience.

Yes - that has been the going feeling for quite a while now. Yet this latest Google update (Farmer) was, in part, about finding 'link farms' so they are picking out some - just not sure yet how they are indentifying these. Beyond the obvious sites that have thousands + unrelated links and not much of anything else.

But Linxboss has short blogposts it puts onto on-topic websites, so.....?
