Animoto Moola Method -easy $200 a day

+rep and thanks to OP for a very nice addition to this forum. Going to try and get someone I know into using this method to help them through rough times.

You all realize animotos licensing terms restrict you from selling videos to other businesses right? You open yourself AND your clients up for future litigations.

Not really. Try it. I've made dozens of videos and embedded them on dozens of domains without a peep from animoto. Worst case is you can download the videos. Pretty sure animoto isn't going to squawk about it.

And if they do, there's always flixtime.

LOL, this is probably the worst advice you can give someone. Just because you've been lucky enough to get away with it thus far, doesn't mean you aren't going to get caught in the future or someone else wont either. If you've built a 5k/month operation around Animoto and get caught, you are not going to be let go with a slap on the wrist . They are going to sue the shit out of you. You can't build a business on animoto, unless you build the cost of the business license (which is 250 PER YEAR/ PER BUSINESS) into the price of your products.

Yes, nobody do this method....You could face millions of dollars being sued.....end up living in a hut down by the river lol. There's a reason Frank Kern's new venture is about targeting small businesses. If someone throws a log in the road, go around it folks. I'm not going to give away everything but sure as hell don't just give up on perfectly good method! It's like Rocky Balboa said in Rocky 5 "Sue me for what?"

NOW FOR SOME EVIL BLACK HAT TWIST....

Get control of the business' list, say you'll manage their online mailings, postcards mailings, etc., and you use the list for whatever evil schemes you want.... I'm sure you can figure out the rest. :)

Very nice. We started cold calling people today because we didn't have time to go out and meet in person. Only did a sample because the website isn't fully functional (well, now it is). 2 people are going to call us back, one said he'd check out the website and was maybe interested. :D :D

Action = Money
Whining = Broke

Choice is yours. :)

Here's the sales pitch....

(find out the name of the decision maker first)

"Hi Bob.... This is Joe (act like he should know you).

Your PA said your the one to talk to about this.

Do you think you're getting the most out of your website or do you think you aren't using it to it's full potential?

(no matter what Bob says you say...)

That's what we thought too in our business until we sort of stumbled on a way to double the number of leads we get everyday. And it's so simple too.

Is your business maxed out now or could you use more leads?

Wow... then you definitely should look into this. And it's so obvious. It's all about using video on your site, and not just any video, you know how car dealers make those cheesy videos?

This is about being able to make movie-trailer quality videos -and get this... they only cost 1/5th of what the going rate is for video production because we use proprietary software to automate the process. Cuts costs way down AND the quality is 100x better than those cheezy videos...."

As a matter of fact, before we learned how to do this we were quoted $2500 by some video company to do a "professional" video for our site. Instead we save $2000, got a better video, and used the $2000 we saved to advertise our site because now we had a way to convert the web traffic to paying customers..."

Make sense?????? :)

So I did some research the animoto thing. I've already been using the program for a few of my other things and here's what I think. Keep in mind, that I only spent like 10 mins on this.

This is from the help section. Someone asked about reselling videos. According from the Terms, you could sell the videos to whoever you want, provided that they are not business. So, for example, a photographer could make a video and sell it to the bride and groom whose wedding his took pictures of.

But...an animoto rep said this:

## Please reply above this line. ##

We don't have a monthly option for the reseller package at this time, but you could always do one month of Animoto Pro on an account for that particular business. Does that make sense?

If you have any other questions or comments, please let us know - we are happy to help!

We value your feedback. Let us know how we did!

Take care,
Megan Etzel
So, you use your affiliate account or whatever and buy them a month of Pro. And you get make unlimited videos for your client legally.

This is a good thread, but I can create videos that are much better than Animoto. For those who wish to start this business to sell a video for $200, why not give me a PM. I will do the video for you for $100, turnaround within one day. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Any samples? Free versus 50% of profit is a big difference for "much better". Plus, all the work is in making the connections and calling. The easy part is making the videos.

Thanks for this awesome thread! Just created my second site a few days ago following another method, guess I will have to try out a third one as well! I do like that fact that this can all be done for local businesses! and that you can get your foot in the door to possibly do some marketing for these companies if you present yourself and your work right! and I love the sneaky black hat suggestion someone mentioned earlier with the businesses contact lists haha Good stuff!

Is it ok to pull the pics off of google image. I mean, could you get in any legal trouble?

The easy part is in making the videos? If you're thinking Animoto is the solution, you really do not know what the market out there is asking for. I've used Animoto and I know what it can do and what it can't and there are many stuff which it can't do, especially the limitations of text characters and templates, etc. Anyway, I've done many business videos and I can tell you for sure that you'll fail with Animoto if you're asking for $200 a video. There is no shortcut to creating great videos. You need to know how to use a variety of video creation softwares and a bagful of quality presentation music.

One can pick up a phone book and call the whole town or place a classifieds, but if you do not have the ability to fulfill the various unique requirements of your potential customers, they remain elusively "potential" customers. The proof is in the pudding, not the sales talk. Period.

BTW, my post is not a promotion of any video creation service I'm offering. If you have the business at $200 a piece and cannot satisfy your customers using Animoto, call me. I may help you out, if I've the time.

Will keep this in mind. I'm good with iMovie, decent with Final Cut and will be mucking around with Muvee shortly. The emphasis for being extremely profitable is through how little time Animoto takes. Sure if I want to make a really good video I can invest a couple hours and do so, but if I can do it in minutes my ROI will be much better.

You guys should create a business that finds faults in other businesses, seriously. You're all masters at finding endless faults in business models without even trying the business model. That's a real skill.

You could charge potential business owners a consulting fee to find dozens of faults in their business. The advantage to this sort of business is that after you find all the faults the potential owner will come back to you with his next idea. He'll keep doing this until he has no money left to pay you. What a winner.

Why are you attacking that the guy that pointed out the flaw in using animoto? Animoto and their RETARDED ASS NAZI LICENSING TERMS is well known, and doesn't require much digging to find why its not a feasible service to use in conjunction with the OPs strategy. The method OP shared is SOLID, but only if you can find another video creation service that is as good as animoto, and allows you to resell the videos. I haven't seen any that has come close with the right licensing terms. Pointing out the "flaw" in using animoto is a bad thing?

It's not a game-ender as people are saying. You can find any problem and say "oh well, that's it. Was a good idea but sadly it won't work because of X".

Of course its not a game changer. People could use another video creator provider that has more flexible licensing terms. The only issue is, I haven't found a single one that has a professional feel like Animoto's, has good licensing terms, and allows for quick video creation. Maybe you can point us to a good service?

Do you really think you're going to get sued for making some videos for a few local gyms? You're not trying to takeover the world of video creation here.
Maybe, maybe not. But that is beyond the point. Why risk YOUR business and your CLIENTS business's when this could be avoided in the first place. If you work the method to the same level the OP suggests, you WILL eventually get caught and the show will be over.[/QUOTE]

It's like worrying about what you'll do when you've got 200 clients, how will you manage it. Or worrying about where you'll find sales people to expand, worrying about how you'll train them in the knowledge required. You could literally list 100 things that will just drain you with worry.

But there ARE some things you can do that ARE in your control. Don't worry about getting sued by Animoto until it happens? Thats stupid.

I totally agree with what you're saying though, not using Animoto is NOT a game changer, you can still use the method if you can find something similar.

Well?Animoto is smarter than we thought.

I got a call today on my google voice number from someone at Animoto. They wanted to see how everything was going, and make sure I knew that I needed a pro license to sell. I assured them I knew that, we were just waiting until we had clients to actually go through with it. YIKES! I think for now I'm going to make videos with iMovie or iPhoto, and simply use the given preinstalled themes etc.

Any one have experience with Flixtime or Muvee? These are some alternatives that I thought of using.

The bottom line is that if you use something and it says not to, you may get bagged for it. Same goes with stock footage..this is a biggy because it can easily be traced and proved...even if it's in a video by using sites like tineye. If you get nailed for this you're going to get screwed on two levels. First, a company like Flixtime is going to get in trouble for it from the stock photo/video company..then they're going to come after you. The stock company itself will also come after you. I have had many years of experience producing video and I can tell you that you need to be very careful on what you're doing here. This is serious serious business if you get nailed for it. Why not just go produce legit videos?
Flixtime and Muvee both have terms and conditions stating that you are not allowed to use these products for income. Trust me you don't want to be in court over such a thing.

Dude I just noticed that when you type your website into google, this thread actually comes up right below it..not good.
