Good luck on your effort and somehow I actually think you are one of those who actually can reach your goals.

On a side note, there should be a real challenge / competition on BHW, where a moderator/admin selects the niche after ofcourse input of BHW users. And the competition could be to reach a x amount of visitors to the site through organic search .

Hey great thread as this interests me as I am studying SEO myself..

One quick question, are you currently doing a linkwheel or any kind of diagram of backlinks to support your website's SEO? If so, im not interested in knowing the sites or the design, but rather what is the number of sites that you use and how many per week?

Even if you aren't doing it for this project, if you could still share your opinion on this question im sure would be appreciated by the community as a valuable one. I hope this question won't be to invading that it seems like I want to be spoonfed as well and constantly bother for details

i dont believe that you will reach your goal. As some guys already mentioned a new domain will never rank in the first months for a high traffic keyword. It would be too fast to create such a strong link structure to push your main keyword within two months. I think, by this way you will probably reach around 100 - 200 visits per day after two months

I have no plans for creating Link Wheels. I am OK with creation of Link Wheels, but not as they are popular. I am in to chaotic unique creations that are unable to be traced by Google.

What I will do is - I will get people to create high authority backlinks. I will get some mix of .edu and .gov I have proven track, that they do what they should do. In addition I will get some authority profile backlinks. I will drop info what I am doing in here as it goes.

As mentioned above - mix of highest authority backlinks. I will update strategy while going through it.

12 pages indexed already, 5 containing copy content. I have added 1 x 1000 words article, 1 x 800 words article, and around 5 x 200+ words. All unique. Other than that around 20 pages of copy content.

Quick update - 12 pages indexed already, 7-8 unique articles added since 2 days, no backlinks build yet. This weekend we are starting ranking. I will try to do onsite SEO today evening if time will let me.

$500 will go:

$100 complete website
$50 content for website
$50 content (articles) for offsite
$300 SEO

I don't have backlinking strategy yet, as I am still waiting to do onsite SEO, get Google to index more sites, and then I will decide.
