eBay fees are a joke

Well, there's a reason that wee call it feeBay and eGay :D

I think that your business module is wrong.

in order to earn money from prducts you will have to find some product you can sale for 100% profit.

as I can see your profit right now is less then %10.. which is WRONG.. it is not related to eBay it is reliated to your busniess module.

this is just my two cent..

good luck.

Well eBay is all about promoting an item which look valuable, but is cheap to the seller.
That's my opinion about it anyway :)

yeah... 10% profit margin will never make it. 100% is the way

imagine 1 out of 20 customer chargeback on you (there are lot of eGayer that wont pay for the stuff they have received), u got almost nothing for profit

go get some good dropshipper with good price before venturing in ebay

I have to disagree with the '100% profit'. Everyone knows ebay is pretty much saturated.. where are you really gonna find something for $30 that you can sell for $60? I'm dropshipping, so I have no risk. All I need to worry about is ebay fees. And I'm not paying the suppiler till I get paid anyway.

Thats why they call ebay FEEBAY, not to mention the insane paypal fees. How about trying some paypal alternatives like "Paymate", but you must have 10 or more feedback in order to use Paymate. Moneybookers is another good option, and they never bother you, suspend you,etc BUT the only drawback is that you get your money every month per transaction.

Its all about marketing. I bought some statues of the Last Supper from an online wholesaler a while back. I paid $5.00 for them and put them up for $25.00 and for 2 weeks they didnt sell. I changed the description around by adding some emotional phrases and listed that it was created by the famous Italian artist ............. Which it was truely created by this person I am just not sure how famous he was. I sold out within a week.

As i said its all about the marketing.

How does marketing affect ebay fees? I don't have a problem selling?

very interesting to learn how to work ebay and how to compete for buyers with an easy way.

there is a way to have your fees lowered if you sign up for an affiliate to egay and add that your auctions then drive traffic true your affiliate link I believe egay pays a % of the sales so you will be able to sell your products and minimize the fees.

Ebay is a joke. Having your own website selling own products is the best way to go, no limits and fees. I still list on ebay but I just lured the visitors to buy in my site instead in ebay.

eBay is a rip off.
I wish I had my own website to sell my products...(((

I thought like 10 years ago it cost like $0.50 for a listing provided it actually sold?

Let's not forget that feebay owned Paypal will freeze your account whenever they want and collect literally millions of dollars of interest on all of their frozen money.
