A quickie update for everyone...

I'm on my way out to help my friend whose house was completely inundated by the massive floods we've had here in Queensland (see my post above for a link to more info) so I'll be out of touch for most of today. The high tide mark at my friends place was his roof so he's lost everything and we're continuing today to throw the entire contents of his home on the street as well as rip up all the carpets throughout and today we have to rip out the ceiling as well as it's full of water too.

If you can afford it please feel free to make a donation as we now have tens of thousands of people homeless here who won't be able to get back into some of their homes for possibly months.

The problem cblocks with the speed issues that have been plaguing us are being removed within the next hour or two

Sometime in the next hour or two ALL proxy sets with cblocks in the 159.x.x.x ranges will be removed from configurations and replacements made to replace them then all affected proxy configurations will be restarted.

An email will be sent out by our system so please make sure that you have [email protected] whitelisted or setup to not be Spam if you're using any of the free email services.

While the data center has been investigating some of the speed issues we've been having they discovered that the amount of ram in our servers (which was their recommended amount by the way!) may no longer be enough as we've now almost totally saturated the ram which can also affect bandwidth throughput. They are checking the servers now to make sure the motherboards we have can handle more ram and we'll go from there.

If they do add more ram it will mean the servers will need to be shutdown for a couple of minutes while more ram is added and then once the servers are back up and stable we'll restart all proxy configurations.

The data center has also just advised me that they will be replacing our core router once it arrives in a few days by snail mail. It has a new brain in it called a Network Processing Engine which "adds more bandwidth to the backplane so more throughput ultimately" to fix this issue permanently. Yay for more high output!

If I get a chance before it happens I will advise you of this.

Ok we pulled the trigger on the cblock changes

All the naughty cblocks have been removed and replaced in all configurations across all servers. All automated system emails have now gone out with everyone's new proxy listings or you can just login to your own control panel to grab your new proxy lists :worm3:.

If you're still having any speed issues please let us know immediately so we can get back onto the data center as soon as possible.

Special note about our emails going to spam...

For some reason all our emails are getting sent to spam, probably has something to do with some lameo spammer using the same hostgator server we're on.

please make sure that you have [email protected] whitelisted or setup to not be Spam if you're using any of the free email services.

We apologise for this inconvenience and are trying to work out a method to stop it happening.

How many IPs can I add to be able to use these proxies from? I'm looking for a 50 proxy buy to start, and have at least 4 locations that need to be ok'd at all times (home, 2 remote desktops, and 1 abroad worker). Is this possible? I don't want to be having to log in and out and change it everytime. I want all locations to be able to access the proxy bank for their use, instead of setting up automated (say scrapbox at home) . . then leaving and having worker need them to do some posting with another automated script. . then surfing the web at home. . etc.

I never used this non username/password approach. . How many IPs can i put on my block of 50 if i order?

Thanks Lutherblissett. You can have 4 IPs on the 50 IP Pack. We do restrict the number of allows because of abuse concerns as all of our packs are intended to be "per user" and not for sharing with entire villages in China for example.

Ok we have finally managed to string together a couple of hours to enable us to start our Affiliate Program! W00t!

The minimum payout is $75 so please consider this before trying to signup just to get your own proxies cheaper as it's not on I'm afraid. If we find that's the case you will be banned.

Commission levels are 10% per sale for the first ten sales and then 15% after that, per month, for the entire life of the client on our books, whether it be a month or 3 years.

Not sure what you mean but we were the first to have a login area where clients could update their proxies if their IP changed.

I'm looking to buy I just want to test one so I know the speed I'm getting,
I want to use them with ubotstudio and for browsing the web. I need
to be able to use internet explorer at regular browsing speeds.

The proxy service I use now is half the price but the browsing speed is terrible.

Hey texacola1,

Please consider offering a second independent subscription payment processor to include along with paypal for the "10-IP Pack" and up.

I'm in Oz and can not use the Paypal service. I know there are othes who can't use paypal/eBay for various reasons.

Here are some alternate payment proccesors services I do use. (preference: 2checkout, or alertpay),googlecheckout,moneybookers,plimus.
