Dilemma, i have the method, milk it or sell?

Alright, i found it, i have it, i know it sounds silly and stupid, and it's not all to relevant either but i found a method that makes me around 10 - 15K $ a month (scalable) while doing absolutely NOTHING, i can press 'start' once on my software and look every few days if everything is still going well.

If i were to sell a piece of software, homebrew, that would absolutely GUARANTEE to earn you a minimum of 10.000$ / Month without needing A N Y knowledge of anything, what would you sell it for? I don't want to go into any discussions of "fake" "scam" etc, i'm not asking for any of that, just imagine, you had this software, what would you do, milk it yourself or sell it for good money?

For anyone that will definately ask, i won't say a word, sorry. Just opinions please.

Keep the method yourself, don't sell it. Be unique, if you decide to sell your market will be saturated.

That was my first thought, but it keeps popping through my head for some reason, it does seem wiser to just keep it, selling gives extra risks (as in, what if a cracked copy leaks out..ouch)

I couldn't even sell it right now even if i wanted to (no proper GUI etc, purely made for personal use) but, no, it's definately not a load of BS, i just kept having that silly idea of putting it up for sale, and was reallly interested what it's realistic value would be (i'd simply be able to offer refund deals, as in, if it does not earn xxx K you could get your money back, since no work or skill is involved i could easily guarantee that.)

If it's really as easy as it sounds then you're far better scaling this yourself. Scale it as much as you possibly can until whatever method you are using dies.

Scale and keep for yourself.

Selling software has a whole bunch of headaches, you have to deal with idiot customers, provide nice GUIs, documentation, do bug fixes etc. Huge huge time sink when you could be making $10K a month just by yourself with no other interference.

Op.. This sounds really dumb to me. First of all I dont think there is a tool like you described here. You click start and you get 10k per month ? WTF?

And if you reall have one like that, why do you think to sell it? Just try to increase the scale.

Here's what you should do. You should make a post pretending you have some big thing, which if you actually do it's probably some forex robot (which never works long) or some gambling robt (which is also a waste of time). Then once you have a ton of PM's from a bunch of newbies who are still gullible, you should sell your "method" to them and pocket the money.
