from first page to first position search engine ranking

I am on first page for many keywords
Many keywords for different posts

mostly on 6-9 position

(last month )earlier I was on 3-7 position for this site.

No i am not doing any MASS BACKLINKS I am going extremely slow on this.
domain is 5 year old...till 2yr back i was on 1st position for many keywords

i have lost huge traffic because of this change.

domains preceding me are two year old only.

Generally Search result within quotes for these keywords r between 6,00,000 to 8,00,000

for one keyword I am on 5th position but first 4 position is of the same domain this domain has keyword in the domain name


what BACKLINK should help me gain 1st spot in all these keywords

You should check out Traffic Travis and see what your doing wrong.

There are a countless number of issues such as domain age, domain backlinks, h1 text, title, description, dmoz listing, etc. etc. etc. Just check out traffic travis lol

most of the crap I put out there is PR1-3 in 6-9 months
and they are simple WP Blogs

so yeah you got some work to do.

i think you need to regularly update your on page content and overtime, it will increase the PR. Most People think PR is from backlinks only. but PR is actually a score google gives to sites based on quality, age, and etc. backlinks are only a part of the equation.

Well how do u get that PR I face problem what are you doing how are you buildiing backlinks?

Yeah I was not working on this domain earlier..
but recently I have started reworking on this domain.

adding blogposts .... adding ezine articles.
I also used to blogpost in other wpmu sites. with backlinks
but no help with it.

1) I am waiting for my ezine articles to be approved
and then i would be submitting more articles.
2) I will be sending these articles to other ezine directories.
3) I have create web2 blogs. not added link none of them has got indexed with google I am waiting for it get googled.
I dont push anything on google.
4) will be building backlinks for my web2 sites.

But I prefer slow and steady approach. I have already hurted my domains with mass backlinks and forcing google to gettin them indexed.

I think you should add more backlinks.

I am doing it slowly.

my site is being updated daily
i have few articles approved in ezine articl directory
I am doing slow blog commenting
I am getting traffic but not ranking
still struggling between 9-13 positions

There are several factors as one of the members mentioned.

Does your domain have the keyword that you are trying to rank for?

Have you done complete on page SEO? title, H1, description, inlink, bold italics(not sure if these help.. but def dont hurt)

Yes

If you are dancing between positions then its probbly google dance which happens when you have pages or links getting indexed, and google needs to work in over drive.

read thread from IAMNRE regarding the on page SEO. It will surely help, nd tell you where you are going wrong
