I understand spamming is illegal in the US, but is it really enforced? I just got to thinking since I used to work for a webhost. When we would get a spammer on our servers we would tell him politely not to do it again and terminate the account if need be. That was the end of it.
Now if you're sending hundreds of millions of emails daily (I.E. on Rosko) I see where this may be a problem, but is it really a risk for the "little guy" just sending a few K at a time. I think the govt has better things to do than track down the small time spammer through foreign servers\proxies.....
