Mass Posting on WP

I have just finished building an article directory site on a WP platform;

I now need to populate the site with articles to get it going. Is there a plugin/script that can upload articles (I have thousands of articles). I would like the posts to be created by different accounts if possible. I am not worried about which category the articles are put into by the script because I have a plugin that will automatically put the articles into the categories based on keywords within the posts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it is compatible with AMR, then sure you will get spammed as you wanted with lots of articles daily.. Especially if it is auto approved...

The directory had Si-Captcha and I will have to manually approve the articles but send them anyway. How would I get listed in the AMR and other article marketing software databases?

Use CSV 2 Post WP plugin
It will upload you all articles from excel , I think that here you can find some plugin , if not , I will upload it here for you .

I cannot get this plugin - even the paid version has been withdrawn while the developer works on the new Beta. If anyone knows where I can get this that would be great.

I have 3 WP plugins which can import CSV to WORDPRESS:

2. CSV 2 Post - PRO
3. WPComparisonChartsv_1_0

• I didn't try any of them yet , but I am going to, because I need it for my wordpress too.
• I needed plugins which can upload also custom fields , so they should do it too .
• Try it and pls. let me know here if it works , I would be happy to know that too.
• CSV 2 Post_PRO is very rare to find , I've searched for it at least one week , I have installed it and I think that it should work well.

CSV 2 POST has been stopped, someone gave it such a bad word on the Wordpress forum that they removed the plugin.

'm the developer of CSV 2 POST and the newer plus far better Easy CSV Importer. I'm still working on this area, providing a better plugin every day, that is ECI. A new version of the paid edition is coming later today and a free version is being released tomorrow.

This is for Wordpress 3.2.1

I get great support from my users but if I can get just a few more sales per month it will go a long way to my future plans in this area of Wordpress. I'll tell you a little about what I'm doing.

Both plugins have taking 2 years together and lot of that time is research. Figuring out the most common requirements so they are well defined and the rarer requirements so they aren't missed out but don't get in the way of the more basic user.

So I do put a lot of thought into it. Easy CSV Importer is the better plugin. CSV 2 POST was great at the beginning but when I started adding endless new features it became a mess. It was my first project out of University, it sold a lot, I made profit but to keep my customers happy I had to created ECI.

ECI is ready to use and was created with expansion in mind and expanding it has been. Every single day I add a new feature or make a key change to an existing feature. This is done in response to users.

Another 2 months development is planned including support content before development slows down to weekly or monthly updates, then I'm working on a new importer!

Can't tell you the name of the new csv importer plugint right now but you can bet it will be great. 2 years of feedback and support to me from my users (they have been great), will be put into the final solution. I've noted every request and suggestion down so that I can craft a plugin.

ECI is about to get a new version release later today for Wordpress 3.2.1, a free version will come tomorrow.

One of the changes in the latest version is the ability to merge 3 columns into one, just for the category description, that is how much thought goes into ECI. SEO will continue to get better with features like this because content can easily be unique. The new importer will do it even better.

I watched the video on the sales page for this, looks good, must confess that I need to study the features of the plugin a lot more before I can begin to understand it much.

Are there two versions, because it appears that one is free on WordPress repository?

Anyway, without even having a chance to try it yet (I will), it looks like a great piece of work
