Ok now we all know about the sanbox effect => most people around here consider it a myth or a variant of the google dance.

Never the less most people consider there are penalties => google puts you a few places lower from 30 to 950

Now I dont say that there are such penalties but I dont admit they exist either.

Never the less google will "ban" you if other autority sites mark you as a spammer => you will become a so called spammer if you build a lot of low quality irelevant links.

Now after all that noncense I have a question:
If any of the above is true then you CAN take your competitor sites down but what if you have a white hat site and somebody spames it to death and complains to google about it- could you do anything about it?

People complain about there sites not ranking well anymore all the time I wonder what the real reason for this is.

If a competitor blast your site with spammy links and then complain to Google... I would say you will probably get some kind of penalty.

If you continue to push your website - add flesh content and build good links it will return stronger :)

In my sites using blog comments, profiles, xrumer etc i only got affected by google dance but it always return to better positions after 5-30 days...

I never get any penalty,sandboxed,etc..but since there are a lot of people that complain about this, maybe there is another factor that we dont know.

If someone were to do that to you, you could always file a "reconsideration request" with Google to explain your situation and potentially be put back to your original position.

I dont want to be rude or mean but can you show me any proof or refrence on this?
Just want to know the truth!

Sure... reconsideration request form can be found in Google Webmaster tools... or simply Google the phrase to learn more about it.

It can take a couple of weeks or so for them to get to it, but there are plenty of people who were restored to their original position...
