Clickbank Strategy: Holy Grail or worthless??

Few days ago an ebook was shared in the download section which talks about using ****** advertising to promote Amazon Products. The method is actually blackhat since Amazon doesn't allow PPV (as told by experienced BHW members) and as we all know the commission rate of Amazon sucks. But I was wondering if I can replicate the method for CB. I can just pick the most popular and high gravity products and promote it through ******.
Since it costs only $5 for 1000 US traffic even if I can make a couple of sales I would be making a profit. It seems too good to be true. No SEO, not worrying about article marketing etc.
Is it possible or am I missing something. BHWers please reply.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that Clickbank doesn't give a hoot where you are getting your traffic from.

Junk traffic doesn't convert to well on cb products as I've found out but good luck mate

the thing is most of the clickbank products have a pop-up when you want to leave the page and this is not allowed on ******
another thing - you can't promote even Squidoo (in case you make a review or something) because is braking frames and so on.

If I were going to do something like that I'd definitely bridge it with a squeeze or proof page.

****** is essentially CPV traffic and is an interruption to the user. My guess would be (as a big CPV buyer) that you'll experience similar conversions... which is to say non-existent.

If you're going to interrupt you either need to draw them away cleanly with a proof page that captures them or some sort of a squeeze transaction that they can complete in < 2 minutes (preferably much less) and be back on their way. Dumping them on a full-blown sales page will almost certainly fail.

I can probably save your old man's credit card.....I tried this with a small test (2000K US) using a high gravity CB product and as the above comments suggest the converstion is non existent. Thats not to say this traffic is not useful though - I also used it on 2 amazon accounts (US & UK) and it converted like crazy, trouble was I subsequently lost both my Amazon accounts due to the violation of TOS.

A good piece of advice I can give you around the traffic from ****** though is that it is frequented by young guys with lower end incomes, they will spend, but not vast amounts therefore if you can turn this traffic to free or low cost (to the user) offers through an appropriate medium you should see results.....

I used a cloacked referrer direct to the Amazon page, I thought that might disguise the traffic source sufficiently for Amazon not to see where the traffic was originating but I was wrong.....direct to a landing page would work though, no violation of TOS there.....

Try CPA on something young guys with no money will want. Like an entire penis enlargement resource. I've seen someone do this on Youtube without using adfly or anything else.

did a test with adfly and adscend yesterday -2000US traffic ->free "some bs" email submit first page->0 leads

and the funny part is...fuc# nothing funny here, seems that something is rotten, or adfly, or adscend, or the offer, or i just plainly suck at buying traffic, either way not stopping now with testing....

However, if free offer doesn't converts, i doubt that Clickbank will.

I have 3 clickbank products and none break frames or have stupid "WAIT A MINUTE" Pop ups.. Just basic, view page, dont like the stuff, dont freeking buy it.. next..
