I'm SURE people have thought of this...but just a reminder - for those of you who like to target
high search low comp niches and do niche adsense/amazon sites....one good link push would *probably* be all you would
need to rank high. I dont know this from experience, but just reading all the reports of people moving up in serps for really
high comp keywords...i would imagine one good push for a low comp adsense site would rocket to the top...
That's what I am about to find out. I will report back here when it's done. I have a niche that has very low competition
with good search volume. It will be for an adsense site (average cpc is around $3.) with about 4000 exact match
searches per month. I chose the full service package -- which basically includes one link push that can equal about 30
back links, so I will see how it goes.
Competition for my niche is as follows:
broad keyword shows 1,840,000 page results
exact match keyword shows 3,830 page results
allintitle exact match shows 111 results
allinanchor shows 3540 results
Average PR in top 10 results is around 1.2, with 5 of them being 0.
Average backlinks to those pages ranges
between 0-63 according to Yahoo explorer.
The domain I chose is an exact match keyword domain with no hyphens (.net extension.) On page optimization scores
an A+ in Traffic Travis Pro, with keyword density set at 3.79% for about 1879 words. All h1, h2 and h3 tags covered.
Title tags and description contain main targeted keyword phrase twice.
In my estimation, it should do pretty well with one linkpush, since it appears that many reported here that they received
a big jump after one push. But who knows -- as it might be VERY different for a new domain. This is why I chose to go
with the
Full Service Package -- as I wanted to try it out and see if one push was enough.
Right now, for my main keyword, I am on page 22 with zero back links. The domain was registered on 01/01/2011. It has
only 2 posts and I posted them about 2 days apart. I made sure the entire site was cached in Google before doing the
linkpush, which was started on 01/05/2011.
I won't do any other back links either. I will only use this service and wait a few weeks to see what happens. I am
interested to see how this will help with a new site. As I said, I will report back with progress.
