worst hosting ever

Don't try webhostingpad. They just kill your account for a week or so while you try to get them to figure out why they turned your off. No notice just dead sites. Ask why you are turned off and they can only tell you one of your sites was using too many resources so go delete something if we turn you back on and hope you deleted the offending site, script or plugin.

For now I am going to throw everything on my ixwebhosting.com account.

I got the account with them just for the 15 unique ips but might as well use it for everything for now

I agree you shouldn't have insulted the tech like that but I have to admit, it's funny.

Heh I feel sorry for tech support that has to deal with idiots like the OP.

I don't see why you gotta get so mad. If you're claiming to lose so much money on Adwords campaign, you clearly wouldn't be on shared Tucows (!) hosting.

Just get a $50 VPS and enjoy more privacy in your hosting. There's a reason why hosting starts at $5/mo and goes all the way to $500+/mo. If the $5/mo plan was truly unlimited, no one would be buying anything else.

My sites don't get anywhere near the traffic that would justify having a vps or that suck ass hosting company would have forced me to buy one in the 1.5 years I was with them.

You must work in tech support.. you didn't even read that it was Fatcow which has nothing to do with Tucows.

having a mysql query limit is insane! Even so there is absolutely no way in almighty hell I could have queried the SQL database 75,000 times in an hour. Think about it.. wait you didn't even bother to read my post why would you think about it?

Hi, as you know, no webhosting provider is perfect!

you will face with many prolems if you are using shared hosting. e.g. server resources

Hosts like that are the reason I sold up my two hosting companies many years ago.
When the likes of FatCow etc started offering unlimited this, unlimited that etc my businesses start to leak customers like no-ones business as I wouldn't match the stupid offers that these new 'unlimited' hosts were giving.

Funny thing was after a month or so the same people were coming back, which made my stats look better and ripe for selling everything off :)

So with their stupidity and then returning, tails between their legs, they actually pushed up the asking price of my businesses :D

Remember, you get what you pay for and when you are hosting sites associated with adword campaigns, don't scrimp on the plan you choose.

If something says unlimited, either read the fine print very carefully or run away!
Also, just because someone is a 'known name' in the hosting arena, it doesn't mean they are the best.

Small companies offer less people per server, support people who are there to genuinely help, not just try to get through 100 support calls an hour to get their commission payments that will top up their very low salary.

I always said to myself that I would return to hosting one day, but only after the 'unlimited' bubble had popped and people realised that getting everything and its dog for the price of a burger a month just won't happen, or if it did it would end badly :)

Guess is still not the time to get back into the game and offer proper hosting to the world :)

On the brighter side of things, at least they responded to you.

I used to host some sites with Magmahost (they are in the UK). Noone was ever availabe in the Live Chat, and noone ever responded to tickets. You could open a ticket, wait a week, and find it closed with no response.

Some hosts aren't worth the bother ,and you are best to just move on.

+1 I am using some one from India called ManasHosting - they never bother to be on live chat and for technical queries they have everything to blame their billing department. They went to the extent of asking additional fees for changing my domain linked to their hosting account. Still Techies cant be blamed for managerial decisions - but flag them so other people are aware of such things.

I was using hostgator but left it two months back after very bad experience... They were unable to keep my sites online... Small sites which were not getting even enough traffic... They were there just for backlinks from different C class IPs... I also had few money sites there which also got down most of the time, I lost ranking in big way and was forced to move out of there.

Now I got dedicated running and all my sites doing good... Later on I found that hostgator are not even keeping regular backup of your sites which is necessary for any managed hosting company... Heck people expect that much for managed hosting company...

So I will suggest you to try some other host... I can't suggest one because before this incident I always used hostgator with good experience and after this I got dedicated server so no other experience in shared hosting...

BTW as others mentioned there is nothing like unlimited

1. There is no such thing as Unlimited hosting, all web Hosts have limits.
2. If you talk to Tech support like that don't expect to much help
3. 75.000.00 connections does not mean 75,000.00 hits try using a cache

I always find being polite works better than swearing

I have tried both ways being polite or rude.... their response is same...

Actually they have some saved message on their computer and they use them...

So it sounds you are talking to a robot

they do sucks really bad ! i suggest you kodingen coom this is the one i am using ! everyting is working fine

it's best to keep working with reputable hosting companies

Get a Dedicated server or at least a VPS and you wont have any worries!
