Micro Niche Site Tips: Happy New Year!

Do you send the xrumer blast directly to your site/inner pages or to your articles / buffer sites?

Thanks for this! Very informative post! Answered my question if matching the exact domain name is really that important!

Cheers again

So with the IP issue, does that mean you have 100 different IP's or 100 different hosting servers?

Great thread, rep added. I was just wondering, how do you go about your AdSense account? Do you have all these sites on one account? I thought AdSense doesn't allow so many sites as this is called MFA? Or am I wrong?

You condensed everything i've learned since i started. I wish i had read your post back then.

Great read, thanks. One quick questions, these "easy niche" sites you target, whats the average amount of time before you start seeing good results in the SERPS, weeks months?

It's different for every site, but I myself usually start seeing at least some sort of results within a few weeks to a month. Around the 2nd month or so is when things really start to pick up for me because that's when the site has usually stabilized in the search engines.

Hey,

2nd post sorry. This has definitely increased my knowledge about SEO and finding niches. I've got a few questions however.

The article/s on your website, does it have to be 100% unique?

Last one,

say I found a niche (keyword: "how to cut an apple" as a sample), this niche gets 20k overall searches per month. I followed what you wrote, no parked sites in pages 1 to 5. The websites that are showing up doesn't have the whole keyword that I wanted to rank but it has related articles about apples, apple juice recipe or apple cider vinegar. Should I still go for niches like this?

Regards,
Mark

Thanks for the informative post. Lots of great tips in your OP and your replies, but the best advice you gave is this:

Get out there and start working. The best way to figure out what works is to just do it. No better way to learn than to get out there and do it.

May I ask how much $ per site can you earn from those Micro Niche site?

Thanks for following up... nevermind though, got my answer...

Great tips and may you have a prosperous 2011. I was really questioning some stuff but you basically covered it.

Hello everyone. I am sorry that I have not been following up on this thread. My family and I ran into some complications. We found out that the house we were renting is foreclosing. So we have been busy packing our stuff and trying to find a new place. What a nightmare... Anyway, I am glad to be back. I want to answer some questions for you guys, but I am still in the middle of moving, so I am sorry if there is a gap before I get on again.

Typically I don't even do Xrumer blasts. If is a site that I think needs it, I will just blast my main page. Not the inner pages. Depends on the competition though. If you are making a bigger site and you want the inner pages to start ranking, you may want to blast those. It's just not my style.

So with the IP issue, does that mean you have 100 different IP's or 100 different hosting servers?

I'll be honest with you, I do use a couple of different IP's for my hosting. But I have a friend that owns a hosting company, so I don't really ever have to worry about being screwed by my hosting company. I have never experienced and penalty in the serps for having sites on the same IP. Not yet anyway.

It depends on the competition again. I have seen a site rank and start getting searches in as little as a day. I have also had sites that take a few weeks. If you have an exact match domain, don't give up on it. You will probably rank well some day. I made a site that I did very little backlinking to and added minimal content. The searches were not super high so I didn't want to put a lot of work into it. I didn't get any serp love for the work I did so I decided to give it up. The search volume did not constitute me doing any more work on it. So I moved on. About 6 months later, it hit the first page and is doing nicely. Brings me in about 20 goog hits a day. That's not much but it typically get's a click or two thats good for a buck or so. I would say it was definitely worth the work I put in. Trying to predict the amount of time it is going to take is almost impossible.

I agree!

May I ask how much $ per site can you earn from those Micro Niche site?

This is another difficult question to answer, but I can tell you what some of my personal sites make. The way I figure these numbers is by simply taking the monthly income from that individual site and dividing by the number of days in that month.

My lowest site made me $0.25 a day. Probably 10% of my portfolio are these sites.

A site that is about middle of the road makes me about $3 a day. Probably about 75% of my portfolio are these sites.

A higher end site makes me about $15 a day. This is my best site, I only have one making that much. The other 15% of my portfolio is making anything from $5 to $7 a day.

Again, I am sorry everyone that I haven't been here to answer all your questions. I hope that helps you out!

thank you so much for this tutorial , really useful , where's the rep button ?:D

How to find a profitable niche ? where to choose the keywords from?
I did a lot of research but can't find the exact information.

I would also like to add that i found a keyword that has 2900 exact searches with 1$ CPC, but it has only .org available, please let me know if it is good to go with it.

1. Isn't it tiring to handle 100 sites? I mean, how do you even manage to handle the 100 sites?
2. Do you do your own SEO for these 100 sites? Or engage someone to do it? Cause if you do engage someone to do it, it's going to be pricey for 100 sites,no?
3. What's your monthly revenue for the 100 sites? If you may share..
