HORRIBLE Success Rate W ScrapeBox! Pls Help

Just installed ScrapeBox on a new VPS server and I cant believe how bad the success rate is. My success rate on fast poster is like 3% in comparion to 50% on my old VPS (and this one is "supposed to be better") I've tried everything that's recommended on this forum from getting private proxies to setting timeout to 90 seconds to using less threads (like 10 and even less than that) still I'm getting nothing CLOSE to even 10% success rate on a list I should be getting 50% + success

I hav no idea what to do now..

Does anyone have a suggestion? (this problem is basically means I can't use ScrapeBox which = no search engine results - for me..)

i said this time and time again. so here is a method in a few words.

• harvest proxies
• test proxies
• filter under 5000ms
• harvest keywords
• harvest blogengine or wordpress.
• clean with "be moderated post" or "blog analyzer"
• clean up that list
• submit your anchor text, comment, and email
• run your list through and let the slow commenter work also
• Check links the day after

here is the reason why ----------> AKISMET

the new spam algorithm of Akismet is really a killer. it will log your IP Address and if you exceed a certain threshold say 2 comments per second, your IP Address would be banned for the 24-48 hours. your IP may be banned for a day or two but the websites that you used as your backlink would be banned forever not unless you email Akismet to unban or whitelist them.

i cant believe this, im using free proxies only.
one i remember was 834 success comments out of 4K i think.

lol, yesterday I made a blast with 70,000 wp blogs in the list, final result:

70 entries found

Given that I'm paying proxy suscription and following a method similar of what CyrysVirus mentioned but without the use of anchor text to avoid "look very spammy", I definely want to jump out of the window :crazy:

Those results only on WP, on BE and Movable still get like 5% rate of success which is too low.

But I'm not juming out of the window, I will find out how to overcome this, I must :spider:

Isn't akismet the reason why we use proxies?

It just takes a few times of being flagged as spam by the blog owner with Akismet to kill your domain. I think I have every domain I own in their filter.

How do you get your free proxies? Please guide me. I just installed SB and first day I was able to get some proxies but now I don't get any at all. Any ideas why it won't harvest proxies anymore? how do youc heck to see if you are blacklisted by Akismet? I have been running 680,000 wp blogs since 12/31 at 20 connections and 90 sec time out and I have 150k posted out of 500k so far.

Now I am really wondering how many of those 150,000 will actually be there..

Also what is "be moderated post"

You can get free proxies if you look in google, maybe in a site like Hide My Ass, but must of them die quicly or are very slow and overabused. I also tried in the free proxies section of this forum but is like "use them the next hour after posted" because they die quickly also.

I guess if I were using free proxies I would be geting 1/10,000 rate succes in posted coments instead of 1/1,000 lol

If somebody has a better source or can help please do!

I spammed one of my money sites early on (yea, yea, I know - I'm an idiot..) and eventually found that my post success rate became miniscule. I assumed it was due to akismet. This is what I did - which appeared to demonstrate I was akismet blacklisted. I'm only a newbie, but it seems to work.

Use paid proxies to post to a couple of your own unrelated blogs (with akismet installed) using the site links you're worried about. Use genuine comments, I used names rather than keywords,
and if you are unable to post, (i.e. straight to spam over and over again) then you are indeed akismeted.

I tried for a while to 'unakismet' myself using those same blogs to report 'THIS IS NOT SPAM.'
Result: Nothing.

I also tried emailing akismet pleading 'I'M INNOCENT!'
Result: Nothing, - they didn't even bother to reply to tell me to f*** off

Anyways, hope this this helps a bit

Proxies won't do anything when your domain is blacklisted. And your domain WILL get blacklisted in less than 1 hour after you start using Scrapebox, that's for sure.

Not sure if SB uses user agents or not,but that would be something to check.My custom poster uses user agents and when I added more user agents with good proxies my success rate improved big time.

I do know that people run blog lists on non-existent domains a few times (and then immediately link check) so that they can be sure they have only extracted autoapproves to use.

If they then run only these on the domain, I think they'd be OK?
