Wait and Reply Module - Normal Tweet List: When posting normal tweets, TA doesn't delete tweets used from the normal tweets list, resulting in Twitter duplicate post warnings. Please include an option to delete used tweets from normal tweets list. Thanks

Im not sure how do you want TA to proceed when all of the normal tweets already been posted. Right now it is rotating the normal tweets, should TA stop if there are no more normal tweets to be posted? Please let me know your inputs.

The duplicate warning message from twitter will not appear if you have many normal tweets in the list. Around hundreds to thousands.

Thanks

+1 or a feature that can scrape normal tweets in real time using keywords would be cool

Im thinking about this also but same question, should TA stop when it cannot scrape more messages?

Thanks

Anyone used this? any good reviews?

Im not sure what kind of review you are looking for but there lot of it here in this 50+ paged thread.

Thanks

Also, reading the manual I had a few other questions:

Reading the manual it seems that you need to generate all the mentions of your keywords, can't that all be automated?

Can more than 1 task be done at a time? Seems it can't with the free version?

Had a couple more I'll post them back. I sent you a pm a number of days ago also...

Can anyone chime in on how much they're earning with this?
How much bandwidth would be used if you were blasting 250 accounts?

Also, are followback rates of 50% typical? I added 950 people and got 22 followers back in 12 hours, my twitter has a custom background, pic and tweets. Just wondering as I hadn't tried it befoer and it may take a lot longer if I can only get 20 followers per day lol... Not to mention the days I'd need to unfollow everyone so I can follow more.

Thanks mate, can I also get a reply to that pm.

Bump.

Rotating tweets
is fine in some situations. Since Twitter is adding filters that are increasingly aggressive, I would suggest leaving the default at rotating tweets with the check-box option to delete normal tweets from the list, similar to the option to delete used email accounts in AC.

I haven't tried a list of normal tweets in the thousands. Maybe that's now necessary. I've been using lists of 500 - 700 tweets on average and frequently run into Twitter "rejected tweet" errors.

Scraping and posting normal tweets in ongoing operation: IMHO this would greatly improve the W&R module. If this feature is added, the dynamic list wouldn't be exhausted, so deletion of tweets becomes moot. So that scraped tweets aren't reused during a run, I would have the program log and use each scraped tweet once. The program could draw from a supplemental static list of tweets when a keyword fails to return a tweet. I would make the logging feature elective, so that those running unattended scheduled operations or lengthy single operations can opt out of generating a large log that might slow or otherwise impede execution.

I always keep many list of those quotes, random phrases etc, all files have thousands in it.

Right now Im experiementing a new feature, In my TA here I added a feature that I can load additional list of words and for every normal tweet selected from the list, TA will get random word from the 2nd list and append it in the normal tweet to make it different.

If Im posting quotes, It will load a list of names of people so the tweets will look like "quote - randomName", and sometimes Im appending and rotating #hashtags, this way the normal tweets will always look like unique and not even comparable to any tweet posted before by other users. So far Im getting good results.

Yeah, its really good to have that one.

I always click "select all"... but sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

HELP?

I am loving this Software! Bought it before I saw this thread, so I didn't get the discount. Oh well. Also purchased TA Account creator.

The public and shared proxies were not working out for me. So I purchased 25 Private Proxies from anonymous-proxies.net. At least I can create Accounts without getting them suspended!

For those of you that are holding off purchasing this Software because of the mass account suspensions using the @reply/@mention module, you are missing out!

PUT SOME WORK INTO THIS! I do not plan on using that module.

Here is what I am working on and how I plan on doing it:

I have created 4 Accounts over a period of 4 days. 1 Account created per ip per day. 100 Accounts total. I used 10 of my domain names and took 5 minutes to setup forwarders for the Catch Alls. So, for each day I only have 2 to 3 Accounts created per Domain Name Email. So, I will end up with no more than 10 Emails used per domain. Much less suspicious than 100 coming from the same domain!

Does the Gmail trick even work anymore? I tried the:
[email protected]
[email protected]
Etc.

Using my Private proxies all created accounts were instantly suspended with that Gmail trick. Maybe because I used my same Gmail account with the Public and Shared proxies and my Gmail account was flagged as spam by Twitter. I would be shocked if they didn't have a filter for that no matter what Gmail Account because it is fairly obvious how Twitter could pick them out. Anything before the "+" sign is the users account. Many Accounts created with the same Gmail id within a short period of time = Suspended Account.

Ok, I am going to be using 4 Accounts per Private Proxy. Not sure what is a safe limit. Maybe I could go more than 4. How many are you guys safely using on a Private Proxy? Of course that will depend on how you are using each Account.

Each Account will be sending out 10-12 tweets a day. Only 2 to 3 will contain a link. 1 will be pointing back to a blog post that I created. The other 2 will be promotional. I'll create several variations of the promotional tweets and post a Months worth to Socialoomph and have it post only 1 to 2 a day. TA will post the rest. Twitterfeed will check my blog and post only once a day. I'll be making 3 to 4 blog posts a day. With 100 Accounts, I'm sure that each blog post will get tweeted by several accounts.

For the tweets, I am putting work into them! I don't just scrape tweets and post. I actually look at every tweet and see if it is something that I want tweeted. I keep the ones that I want, maybe edit it a little. I remove any hashtags. My tweets are not going to contain hashtags. Also, I am creating several tweets that a human would tweet while sitting at the computer. But they would be a little general. For example, "Man, I overdid it at the gym yesterday. Sure am sore today. Live and learn. lol". For every 10 tweets that contain quotes and one liners, I'll create 1 tweet that a human might actually type in. Keep adding tweets every day and you'll soon have a file with thousands of tweets. My accounts are all related to the same niche. So, I can use these tweets for every account. I will have TA Shuffle the tweets for each account.

Socialoomph will send a DM to each of my new followers. With a link to my landing page. Yes, I have created a landing page and not just sending people straight to my offers. I will also tell Socialoomph not to follow others that follow me. Because my Accounts will appear very human and natural, I should get followers and keep those followers even if I don't autofollow. By not automatically following others that choose to follow me first, my followers to following ratio should improve. I've also created a blog related to my niche. Half of the DM's will have a link to my blog, half to the landing page.

TA will follow no more than 100 a day and unfollow no more than 100 a day for the first week of the accounts life. Over 100 Accounts, that still works out to 10,000 a day! Then I will increase it by 50 every week until I get to my setting of 400-500. Then I will leave it at that and follow no more than 500 and unfollow no more than 500 in a day.

Each Account should be under the radar and shouldn't get suspended. The activity on one ip should not be enough to get my accounts suspended and/or ip banned.

This strategy will pay off in the long run as my accounts followers will keep growing every day for a long time. Sure beats getting the accounts suspended and having to start from scratch again and getting new proxies that work.

A few questions. I want to create several Socialoomph Accounts because 1 free account obviously will not work with my 100 Twitter Accounts. I was thinking of manually creating 1 Socialoomph Account for every Twitter Account. That is probably overkill! What are the limits for a Free Socialoomph account? I know it is 12 tweets per hour. Is that per Twitter Account listed in the Socialoomph Account? Or for all Twitter accounts combined that are listed in the Socialoomph Account. How many scheduled updates can I have in the queu? How many DM's per day am can my Free Socialoomph Account send out? Just want to get an idea of how many Socialoomph Accounts that I will need.

I'm going to create several Twitterfeed accounts and several url shortening accounts. Probably 25 accounts each. Each account will control 4 of my Twitter Accounts. Having 1 account controlling dozens of Twitter Accounts is not natural. Not sure what their limits are. That should help drive lots of traffic to my blog as I get more and more followers.

Each account is playing by the rules and I'm not spamming twitter with each account. I'm spamming Twitter by using 100 accounts!

Not saying that this will work. But why wouldn't it? :)

Here is one thing that I wish TA would do.

When following/unfollowing (Or Tweeting, etc), if TA gets a Twitter not responding error or any other error, then the timer counts down before going to the next task in the list. That task just does not get done.

I would like the option to set another timer. Let's say I set this timer at 5 minutes. Then that means when the timer reaches 0, TA will go back to that task and try again if a thread is available. If a thread is not available, then the next thread that becomes available should be assigned to that task.

The problem is that I can not set it and forget it because 25% of the tasks get some kind of error from Twitter. If TA would go back to those tasks and try again, then most of my tasks would get done. Right now, I end up hitting the Stop button, deleting all the tasks that were completed, and then hitting the Start tasks button. Problem is, I have to be around the Computer to do this. Then I stop the overall timer and have to manually start all the tasks again the next day. So, I can't really set it and forget it.

the problem i have is that i have 1 k accounts and about 30 keywords. when i load all accounts they multiple accounts wait and reply to the same twitter users. so i have lots of at replies all going to one user. is there a way around this.
i want the separate accounts to remember if they sent reply to a useer

also is there a way to automatically change twitter accounts when post limit is reached or it account becomes suspended. i have thousands of burnout twitter accounts. that i have to constantly manage for reply limits and suspended accounts

A little hypervigilant, but well thought out. I think this type of approach is the way to go, lest we kill TA the way people killed the popular Facebook app, FW, by churning out thousands of throwaway accounts. TA's owner goes over similar organic approaches in the TA manual.

A 1:4 proxy account ratio during creation is the recommended conservative balance. My experience has been that Twitter does not track proxy-account continuity (tethering) to the extent FB now does (what a friggin' nightmare that's become LOL). Because of Twitter's more 'forgiving' filters, you shouldn't have to agonize over proxy:account ratios when using your aged accounts to the extent you do when creating the accounts. That could change in the future, but currently it's not an issue.

Anyone else have feedback on Socialoomph, in general, when paired with TA? Would be interested in people's feedback on ideal ratio of Twitter accounts per each Socialoomph account, as queried by OP.

So what's the verdict on proxies? Where is the best place to get them? $4 per proxy seems expensive right now (I'm just starting out.)

For what I'm trying to do, I need to create about 1,000 accounts. Are private shared proxies out of the question?

This is a good one, normally the error is coming from twitter login process or when TA is browsing between followers\following\search pages, those pages are the most common chances that twitter will return error most probably because it require more resources in the server side. This is the reason why in Manage->Other options there are settings, Auto-retry on login and auto retry when moving between pages. Try increasing the values of those settings if that works for you.

Thanks

I have no reply in this thread for few days because we finished this feature. It is included now in the version we released few hours ago.

2.4.0.0
- Manage->Twitter Accounts: Added way to merge followed & replied lists. You can now group and let accounts
use the same replied list and followed list. Which means that, accounts have the same followed list will no
longer be following the same users. And accounts that have replied list will no longer reply to the same users.
- Wait & Reply: Adjusted for the new replied list structure
- Reply Generator: Adjusted for the new replied list structure
- Follow Unfollow: Adjusted for the new followed list structure
- Fixed rare problem when scraping and moving between followers pages

I agree thats why Im still maintaing some WH accounts (some thousands), which Im increasing followers and posts, its still a good asset for long term business (as long as twitter is alive). Then I retweet some posts\links from my main accounts and try to capture their emails in my aweber account to maintain them in my list, just in case twitter die, I can still send offers to them.

Its been very long time since I last used socialoomph so Im not sure about their rules now.

So what's the verdict on proxies? Where is the best place to get them? $4 per proxy seems expensive right now (I'm just starting out.)

For what I'm trying to do, I need to create about 1,000 accounts. Are private shared proxies out of the question?

You can still find some good free proxies out there, but if you dont want to waste time, just get yourself some exclusive proxies. Im still using proxies from packetflip and Im not yet encountering any problems.

You can get their 25 proxy package and create 50 accounts a day til you reach 1000. You can create 10 accounts per IP\day but personally I only create 1-2 accounts per IP a day.

I hope this helps,

Thanks
