What are the benefits of using a foreign PP account?

There are none, unless you are talking about using a UK or US account.

US accounts have the least amount of restrictions for new users which really doesn't say much. It's more likely to be able to use PayPal for a longer time for online transactions with a U.S. based account, then a U.K. based account. The lowest and most restricted accounts are China and India based accounts, which are often limited at the first withdrawal.

Cliff: PayPal considers U.S. users less risky.

eBayMafia, I'm a Bronze Powerseller/Top Rated seller and I've been trying different ways to increase my sales but to no luck. I've been in the eBay business for 4 months and most of my goods are lowest in price. I've tried many ways to boost my sales such as offered free samples, free assortments to go along with the main item, created new listings/title with keywords describing the item as detailed as possible, created new listings (one with base price and shipping and one with free shipping, next day shipping, created a professional template for products page, etc. and I'm not seeing a huge increase in sales. Also, it doesn't help that one of my competitors whose goods/prices are nowhere near mine and still make bunch of sales per day whereas if I'm lucky, I'll make 2-3 days in a couple days. Any help?

You might want to consider some outside sources for advertising your products. Have you tried making a video with it and posting it on perhaps facebook with a link to where people can purchase it?

Ebay also has a category in your sellers area where you can list keywords for SEO optimization so that when people do searches on places like g**gle or other spots, your information might be included in the query. It gets more sophisticated then that, but that is a suggestion.

Do you check to see how many hits your items are getting? I know a funny thing happened where I had this product for sale and it was for $260+45 shipping (Best Offer)...

I gave them the BEST OPTION OFFER and they still bought it right out...I almost felt bad for them, but hell...I cant be mad at a $295 sale. I would have sold if got $250, maybe even $200 if they asked..

Sometimes...people feel cheaper means something is wrong with it...

I apologize, I just missed your question. We talked about that in a different thread, and you could have PM'ed me.

Opening up several PayPal accounts is time consuming. What you are going to do is sell an item, but under "Payment Options" you are going to uncheck "Demand payment upon Purchase" or something like that. Which just makes it so that when someone uses "Buy it Now" they have to pay you to close the deal. Create a couple gmail and ebay buyer accounts, perhaps from a different IP (like from a Library or different wifi location), and then purchase the item at intervals of 1 per 30 minutes, and then mark all of them as "Payment Received" - Don't leave feedback from them, and don't leave feedback on them. Then mark all of the transactions as "Shipped."

she needs to do research on it. I am sure there is money to be made in it, but I am sure there are people that have that connect for less. Either way though, there could be a demand on ebay. What is cool about ebay is that everyone and one time or another is looking for something you have...how is she going to sell it? electronically or ship it? Because if she ships it, man, she wont make but a few dollars on it (if that).

Selling for maybe $4-$5 (if lucky), plus ebay fees if in store category will be worse, shipping might be about a $1.29. Umm...labor...umm...


Just something to consider...but nothing is wrong with trying. There ARE options on ebay.

Yeah, I have had a bunch of PMs about this.

They said that I could advertise to other eBay sellers and stuff as its referral based but since Im not on eBay anymore I don't really care and I urge people to use their services but they aren't cheap but they get shit done. I used to feel really guilty for having them do my dirty work, but there are people out there whom you really can't compete against for whatever reason. If some factory making wallets sells 200 of them to you for $2.40 a piece and they make them for .49 cents and then they start selling them for $1.99 + Free Shipping directly competing against you... what are you going to do? You were planning on selling these wallets for $14.99 + Free Shipping. They aren't making much of a profit as they have no intention of paying fees, and you aren't making a profit at all because you paid for shipping for all of these wallets to be shipped from the factory to you. Are you going to just throw away all of the wallets or sell them and owe money in fee's? No way, I wouldn't. Business is a dog eat dog type of world, and if someone is willing to fuck you over, don't just take it.

Hello, Need your Help.

I have and ebay seller account, it got restricted as I had an open dispute in Paypal and Ebay, one seller from China didn't send one item, I opened dispute and now my account got restricted as I was selling couple of items.

My real issue is, I changed my shipping address to a U.S shpping address, a fake one as I experience as a International seller account, I was unable to sell any single item. When I changed to U.S shipping address, I made almost 10 sales and successfully shipped using DropShipping Method.

Now as I got account restricted, I chatted ebay live support and they are requesting me to fax 'Proof of address and/or phone bill along Photo identification ID such as Driving Licence etc. I can't send it as I changed the address to Temp USA address, If I will send my ID and address proof from here where I am, they probbaly gonna close my account.

Need your advise please, how to deal with this situation? any advise would be highly appreciated. thanks alot in advance.

ebaymafia thanks for your free service to this forum well my US paypal account got frozen and after the long 180 days wait paypal asks me to send some documents to verify my account. the thing is i opened the account with fake details. any idea on how to go about this?
