Ok... just trying to get some input on how you guys are handling some of your backlinking. I'm not really into 'blasting' thousands of links, but I do like to do my fare share per week, per site.

So my question is, are you pinging all of your backlinks, or are you only ping'n a few (the higher PR) sites and letting google naturally find the others.

Thoughts and comments pls.

I ping all of them to aged domains, but only a few for new domains, and let the rest go natural.

Well, pinging just help to get your links indexed more faster.

If you feel that natural link building is more important to you, than don't ping them and let Google themselves.

If you are taking the time and money to build links, why not have them count? If you are worried about Google finding them too fast, then drip feed your links.

I had this same issue with my forum profiles so I built LTS.me (relaunching tomorrow). It'll turn your links into RSS feeds and then drip feed them out at whatever rate you specify.

Ping them so you get credit!
