Just thought I should let everyone know that this company likes to cut and run with your money after a couple months. After finally getting my first check from them and sending them alittle more traffic they decided all my leads were "bad" and to close my account and keep my money. So no matter how nice they seem they are thieves just the same. They lied to me from the start about when my payout would be, but pulled the "oh the AM must of been mistaken or had the wrong info" bullshit. Then they tried to drag out paying me even longer with asking a dozen times if I'd turned in my W9 when it shows right on the site that it has. Now they accuse me of fraud when a week before they were all happy with the traffic.

So rack them up as another network to steer clear of as I might be the first but I'm sure I won't be the last they steal from.

I've been trying to work with beer30 for quite sometime now, trying to resolve this issue with him. After much digging it came out that he was using a CraigsList Bait and Switch method in the auto section. Using a technique that was posted in the VIP section several months ago, almost verbatim. The fact alone he was sending CL traffic was enough to get him banned however we still planned to pay him on his good leads and part ways civilly. However Brandon stated over and over again and tried blackmailing me that he would only accept a full payment or else he would go around and post on forums about the situation, trying to sway other marketers from joining the network or leaving. I've included the fraud report in his post. Out of 89 leads for October traffic 52 leads were fraudulent/bad and were removed by the advertiser. You can see from this report that false information was used for all of these leads.

• 15 leads - Did not request quotes
• 14 leads - Disconnected Phone Number
• 1 lead - fax line
• 2 leads - Incentive leads
• 3 leads - Survey leads
• 17 leads - Wrong Name, and Wrong Vehicle

So as you can see with over 50% of the traffic we had to part ways for obvious reasons. This thread is nothing more then lash out for being caught, and being upset over it. If the percentage were a bit lower on bad leads we would have been able to keep on running with him and most likely would have been able to convinced the advertiser to pay out on those leads however the advertiser wasn't going to budge on this amount of bad traffic.

As for why beer30 was banned here it was a mod in a pissy mood banning alot of people that day I'm told. Didn't have anything to do with him being caught being anything here. So it helps when you know wtf your talking about before you open your mouth.

You could end this by sharing how you secured the leads. Sounds crazy, I know.

I can also say that the above quoted post comes across as genuine to me, because it's obvious what happened. These are phone verified leads, which means callbacks, which the network doesn't do. That's all on the advertisers side. If you run fraud on a phone verified offer you've got to have some jedi level game, otherwise it's obvious and apparent. The leads are scrubbed at the advertiser level.

Universally fucking stupid. Gain versus risk, friend. You weren't making crazy loot for the work and the risk is at a maximum.

I'm wondering if you're wanting the entire amount, or the amount determined to be good leads? You never really state that, and that makes a huge difference on the credibility of your claim.

If you wanted the whole amount? Hah, get fucked. This isn't the case of your method being solid and a snoopy advertiser. You knew this was a PVO and decided it was worth the risk.

If you wanted the remainder? That's tricky. On one hand, sure, I can see if the leads were clean and valid; you deserve to get paid.

...on the other hand, see the highest level of the game is the advertiser. The advertiser is just that, as in they pay networks to distribute ad content. They can decide to shift more revenue toward another network when fraud arises. If your retention rate on that offer didn't show up for a few weeks, then on top of bad leads is the previous terms retention rate. Well, if that's poor there's gonna be a problem. Then it comes down to the network leveraging how much this hurts their relationship with the advertiser, which has a dollar amount attached to it in the form of revenue.

I'd personally pay out the clean leads and part ways, but without more detail it's really not clear.

Either way, pick better offers and know all the mechanics before running, maing.

More like just avoid shitty companies that can't be trusted. I was running the exact same thing through another company and did they pitch a fit, ban me, and steal my money like these guys did? Nope they just said "hey the advertiser doesn't like the traffic please stop" which I was fine with.

The thing everyone fails to notice here is my AM was told exactly how I was getting leads, IT WAS HIS METHOD for fuck sakes. So coming back months later and playing dumb is just plain bullshit. I do have PM's proving he knew it was CL traffic and his method. (just took screenshots so the mods there can't delete them)

These little bastards even called the other network, most likely trying to get me banned there too, saying they were suing me and all kinds of bs. Luckily the other network wasn't nearly as dumb as they thought and just let me know about it.

At the moment I'm just letting the dust settle as I have more important projects to focus on then starting a full blown campaign against them. Much like making money wars take time to plan.

A CPA network isn't supposedly BAD just because they ban you. They want to make as much money for as long as they possibly can, just like you do. It would NOT be a good business practice for them in the long run if they just start scamming their affiliates! But you send bad traffic, and get CAULT sending bad traffic, and oh, now they are bad?

Why would you run a method on another network with a similar offer (basically switching the traffic from one network to the other) when the first network you were using it on told you that that s--- is NOT effective bro?

Now, you CAN ask if the advertiser actually complained about the traffic by asking them to confirm that the advertiser did indeed ask them to reverse the funds in a written statement that can be tracked. As yes, some CPA's DO in fact use this trick if they know in advance that you are sending traffic that will more then likely not pan out.

BUT...........The first advertiser at the first CPA network you ran this traffic thru should have giving you a clue as to how good or bad the traffic is.

Far as running the method verbatim close but not exactly. It was originally a one reply setup and I turned it into a 2 reply. But no I didn't bother changing the script itself much as it was well worded and worked just fine the way it was already.

I honestly don't give half a shit what any of you think of me as afterall I'm not here for a popularity contest I'm here to make money. The only reason I even signed up on this forum in the first place was the buy/sell section is handy at times.

Ofcourse, they could always be lying. So see if you can get in contact with the advertiser themselves and see what they say. Then, if you find out that they were indeed lying, take them to small claims court in whatever state that business is located. Baba bing.....

Far as small claims court goes it would cost more then it's worth with travel expenses and whatnot. If they owed me that much it would of been dealt with much differently and I'd had my money by now trust me.

This kinda shit is the reason I'm looking very hard at getting out of cpa as most of them seem to have this "your lucky we even pay you" attitude no matter what kind of traffic you have.

Brandon since you have gone around posting all of this negative stuff our pending applications have doubled. You are actually helping the network grow. We are getting many new Affiliates behind this.

In fact I don't know many networks that would even pay you the remaining balance. Blackmail doesn't work with us, nor will it ever. But we did pay you for the remaining good leads you had. After all it was your money.

I think OP should be VERY happy about how AdvertMarketing handled this. To be paid out for even part of your leads while they know you were generating leads in a way forbidden by the TOS, then even trying to scare other people away from the network, I'd have told you to f*ck off (like most networks do).. You were lucky to 'fraud' offers at this network. IMHO.

Personally I have had good experiences with Advertmarketing. Granted I have only had one payout however I have had really good communication with the owners and my AM.

As it has been stated above, if you provide good traffic the advertisers will stay happy and pay the network who inturn pay you. Whereas if you send crappy leads the advertiser will not be happy and you will not get paid. Pretty understandable really.
