If some of you are still hesitating to start using article marketing,I can only tell you that you should start writing content right now.

Good articles that are well written can drive really good quality visitors to your site or blog.

In order to get good conversions, you need to write your blog as if you were having the same exact problem the reader has, so that he feels that he's not alone and he sees that someone else's had the same problem, and found a solution.

Explain that solution( the product you are promoting) with brief details so that the reader(and potential buyer) will be in need of further information,and that he will have no choice than to click on your link to get the information he is missing.

After that, the vendor's sales page does all the work.

As for me, I do a simple blogger blog with a keyword rich title and domain name.

Submit articles to ezine,article base, goarticles, and link them to your blog.

Simple as that. I've made 4 sales this week with only 4 live articles that are not even a month old.Now I now that the conversion are they're, I am going to scale it up and bank in great money.

Go write some articles now !

Problem with ezine though is unless you get passed the initial 10 submissions article Basic PLUS & the 25 Platinum Status, you cant just link to pages which promote affiliate links!

So unless you remove all aff links while verfiying you may have to use other article sites!

Mmmm not sure you're right about that. If we could not link to page that has affiliate links, no one would submit article.

Do you mean that direct linking is prohibited? if so yes you are right, anyway direct linking with article marketing won't get you a lot of sales

Great post, it puts a good twist on things for me. As of yet I've written about 60 articles to ArticlesBase and only had 2 sales this month. I'm going to try something along these lines from now on.

Hmmm...interesting. I always thought the only people who went to places like ezine were other internet marketers in search of the competition. That's why I've always been reluctant to do it. But I have heard of many people having success with this so I may have to give it a shot.

You forget that ezines and other get tons of search engine traffic and most of them are people searching for what they want and not I Marketers.

I always wondered about that. From personal experience, almost all my top SERPs are from places like Wikipedia. I almost never get any top results from the article sites.

Still, couldn't hurt (too much) to try and see for myself.

4 live articles and 4 sales? I must say that is pretty impressive. Congrats. But yeah good thing you're encouraging others that article marketing is not dead. I'm not saying it is dead, but my philosophy is that I only write medium grade articles for the purpose of backlinks. Keep up the good work.

Also, it's important to split test as well between direct linking and a landing page. I have actually doubled my conversion by direct linking in one niche.

Just buy some cheap .info domains for this. In fact, it's best to plan ahead, pick about six niches you want to get into, and get a sweet discount on godaddy for bulk purchase plus free private registration.

Get you a cheap hosting plan from hostgator, slap a wordpress blog up.

I normally use the main domain for the php redirect, and I subdomain for blog purposes.
Mainly because some article sites will only allow a top level domain redirect IE:
www.niche.info for the redirect
blog.niche.info for blog

I only add a link back to the blog for this niche when I want to add extra SE love for the site. You can also add both blog and redirect link if you choose, but for this niche I have found not to give them to many options.

I also periodically add my best articles to the blog, the better of the seo centered articles in kind of a drip feed fashion.

Another thing to consider is, don't forget the traffic coming into these sites from other articles. Most of the time, they haven't found what they wanted and will see your article as well in the fresh or recently submitted. So timing comes into play as well.

Also, be yourself, don't write boring informational articles. Engage the viewer, strike a few nerves here and there, not harmfully, but to get them thinking about their problem etc. and lead them to the solution.

One last little gem, if you have an article you know has made sales, then get it out there more. This may sound like a long task, but it drives traffic today and for long term.

Take your list of keywords, google them one by one. On each first page of google for your keywords, find as many sites as you can to comment and leave a link either to your article or to your site/php redirect where ever possible.

You can definitely repurpose your content over other sites like squiddo, hubpages, goarticles etc.

But, personally I like to siphon traffic from sites who have already done the leg work. Their sites are already in the top ten for my keywords, so in the meantime I might as well siphon a little from the top so to speak for little effort. Not to mention adding a nice high quality backlink to whatever site I decide to drop, whether it be an article or my blog.

Why fight another site for that position, when you can just as easily take some of their visitors who are already targeted.

Key is, making yours stand out and be a comment worth clicking

So you are basically writing a mini-article in the blog comments? That is an interesting idea. 100 words or so just to get a reader interested enough to click over to your site.

OP said mentioned using pictures and colors related to your niche. Pictures is simple enough. But colors?? How does one determine what colors go with what niches? LOL

I've been mass submitting spun articles w/AMR and then hitting them with scrapebox links. I realized I had a hundred articles I had bought a couple years ago and never used. Just gotta keep at it. Spinning an article even with TBS take an hour or two if I do it right. Need to build up stamina and keep spinning.
