I personally, do not feel the need to get high, unless it was medically necessary.
Not bashing, BUT...you have never done anything to make yourself "feel better, maybe even euphoric, without being "medically necessary"?
I find that hard to beleive.
Have you ever enjoyed an alcohol buzz?
Ever get a "coffee high"?
Do you ever call up an old friend/relative because you know it will make you fell better talking to them?
Do you only eat a comfort foods because it is "medically necessary"?
When you were a kid did you enjoy spinning until you got dizzy?(Where was the medical necessity?)
....There are SO many examples of this - your brain releases endorphins whenever you think pleasant thoughts, eat pleasant foods, or do anything that is pleasurable. (Laughing should be OUTLAWED!!!)
Why do people like you not see that most of what we do as humans is to seek pleasure and that you are no different than anyone else in this measure?
So the next time you are saying to someone.."Oh MY GOD, this tastes AMAZING" just realize YOU ARE GETTING HIGH and it is NO different, except for the laws of man, than someone enjoying natures bounty however it pleases them.
